Nope, I have no idea what a present shitting log is either.

See post 2 for links etc and note the addition of a link with more info to the mn Christmas appeal, a very good cause if you're looking to donate to charity this Christmas time.

I twitched. Dag nabbit!

Harry Potter Cluedo is down to £23.46 on Amazon here. Cheapest I can see it.

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 08/12/2016 20:35

Can anyone find me a reasonably priced small brown suitcase I can turn into Newt Scamander's case of Beasts? Not paying the £50 they want in the Platform 9 3/4 shop!

confuugled1 · 08/12/2016 20:39

bonnie there are portrait and wedding photography courses too if has those specific interests (and even more specific ones like taking pix of kids or winter weddings - just google whatever he's into taking pix of and there's bound to be a course in it!

RJnomore1 · 08/12/2016 20:53

Just checking in. I'm more or less done but worried I miss anything!

VinoTime · 08/12/2016 20:54

Hasbro Operation board game is only £11.39 on Tesco Direct here.

GodReastieMerryGentlemen · 08/12/2016 21:04

I just realised dd will probably be sent home from school on the last day of term next week with some kind of card or note saying what she'd like from Father Christmas. I hope she doesn't put something random on it that's completely different to what she's already asked for like a hatchimal

Definitely worth checking your M&S Sparks card, I've had £5 off women's knitwear, £5 off women's night wear (both single use) and a 20% off kids nightwear loaded onto my card. All are valid for 6 days.

nickdrakeslovechild · 08/12/2016 21:33

coolpatterngirl on the last thread you asked for a joke set with fake Poo. I got a great set from B&M for only 2.99 Its got fake poo. I know DD will love blaming the dog for it! Xmas Grin Its a really big set for the price with lots of bits in it.

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 08/12/2016 21:38

Just had an email from Boux avenue saying one of the pyjamas I picked (the 2 for 20 deal) is out of stock. It says click on link to choose another pair but this just takes me to the PJ page at full price. Anyone else got email?

ASpiderInTheManger · 08/12/2016 21:47

Thanks for another great thread reastie.
Was looking for some advice about buying from sports direct please?
Is there any way of getting around the £4.99 they charge you for click and collect? I know a year or two ago they used to put a £5 voucher in the package which made it sting a little less, does anyone know if they still do this? I hate that they charge for click and collect! Xmas Angry
Thanks in advance Xmas Smile

SixtyDegreesNorth · 08/12/2016 21:48

SilverGiraffe the Studio code did not work for me Sad I live on a Scottish Island so that may be why. Bastards!

And talking of bastards, L'Occitane has cancelled my order as OOS. Grr.

SixtyDegreesNorth · 08/12/2016 21:51

Spider they are currently giving the £5 voucher in store with click and collect. No code needed.

klassykringle · 08/12/2016 21:51

Surely Santa only takes orders until early December though Reastie? Wink

Theonlyoneiknow · 08/12/2016 21:51

Woah not long to go! Thanks for new thread!

VinoTime · 08/12/2016 22:01

I've finally had an email from Unicorn Lashes! Pre-orders for their beautiful unicorn makeup brushes are opening tomorrow at 12pm for deliveries between the 12th-17th December. Unfortunately they can't guarantee Christmas delivery, though even if sent on the 17th I'd imagine they would have a pretty good chance of making it Smile

They aren't a bargain at £45 but they are stunning and they sell out quickly. Might be a nice gift idea for any makeup loving teens!

VinoTime · 08/12/2016 22:07

ASpider they do still give you the £5 voucher using click and collect - says so on their website anyway Smile

woodwaj · 08/12/2016 22:14

Checking in!

Lapinlapin · 08/12/2016 22:15

How about:
walkie talkies
Sticker machine (my 6 year old has the JL one and loves it)
Enormous cardboard house! like these -rocket, shop, Santa's grotto, fairy house
Plus maybe colouring pens/dress up stuff to go with the house
A watch or clock for their bedrooms (if they don't already have them)
Game, such as bop it
Science set

Ness1234 · 08/12/2016 22:28

Thanks for the reminder to check ones M and S sparks, I had a £5 voucher waiting for me to use on clothing and home!

luckiestgirl · 08/12/2016 22:43

YoureAll There are brown suitcases in all the charity shops around here- I'm sure charity shops are a good bet for this.

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 08/12/2016 23:12

Does anyone know where's best to get theatre tickets at a reasonable price? I'm baulking at the cost!!

HighDataUsage · 08/12/2016 23:18

Was out rl shopping today and saw a few bargains mainly in wilkos, it's a good place for teacher/ club leaders type token gifts. Lots of pocket money gifts within £1-£5 region for e.g. hand cream/nail file combo £1 , blue floral scarf £4 etc. A net of chocolate coins was 50p in wilkos whereas they are £1 in poundland so shop around for those. Lots of stocking filler sweets were reduced as well.

HighDataUsage · 08/12/2016 23:23

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece are you an AA/RAC or raildcard member? They often have theatre ticket deals for their members so it's worth checking their newsletters/ websites.

yumyumpoppycat · 08/12/2016 23:23

Sorry if this is already been posted - Character.com have 50% of selected items secret santa this includes a BB8 rucksack which is reduced to £3.95 already so would be £2!!! Also includes some mens star wars t shirts, kids pokemon PJs, and lots of other characters - disney, paw patrol etc. I have ordered from this company before and they are fine. Unfortunately deliver is £4.95 unless you spend over £25 so prob only worth it if you need LOTS of sale items or one of the full priced items (they have harry potter PJs and dressing gowns, Pokemon hoodies etc)

TheBriscoesLady · 08/12/2016 23:29

I have just bought some half price gloves, a hat and neck warmer (so glam) from Lands End for the children to give to me to wear while I freeze my arse off watching them play rugby on the weekend

I have been given a referral code for £10 off plus free delivery for first time customers if anyone wants to use it. I also get £10 off and free delivery for my next order. Referral code here Lands End

Not sure if the £10 will also stack with the 50% off offer, but potentially worth a go if you too are standing on the side lines in sub-zero temperatures...
