A white sliced loaf.

Because I'm such an evil mummy and buy whole meal bread.

AutumnalLeaves38 · 07/12/2016 18:23

My bewildered friend puzzled over last year's sole request to Father Christmas from her then 6yr old DD:

"please may you bring me a enormus jar of Pikled Onions. Very enormus. They are crunchy and make me feel like a dragon..." Xmas Smile

This kid takes eccentric to a new level. She's fabulous!

GiddyOnZackHunt · 07/12/2016 18:26

A gold bicycle bell. Had to be gold. Thank God for the internet

J3NN1 · 07/12/2016 18:47

Dd3 (7 & asd) asks for a banana and ribena. Every year without fail lol. This year I have an inflatable banana and a squishy stress banana for her, as well as a real bunch. Last year my mum gave her a big bottle of ribena with a mini Santa hat and scarf on it and it was her favourite present ever! She's not normally allowed ribena but we always have bananas in the house anyway so no idea where that one comes from!

I love this thread so much! My little girls only 20 months but I remember my mum going on mad searches for whatever wacky idea I had come up with Grin can't wait to do the same

BooeyBubbleHead · 07/12/2016 20:02

A real-life sheep.

I have explained that FC is committed to animal welfare, so he won't risk its safety by carrying it down a chimney. She seems satisfied with this. Kind of. Xmas Wink

JustSpeakSense · 07/12/2016 20:03

My then 5yo asked for a chip fryer

(Because, apparently, I don't do chips as often as they'd like) Hmm

Wheresthattomoibabber · 07/12/2016 20:04

A green zonda
A green key for the zonda
Magical powers
To be an adult so can drive zonda
Driving lessons as above

That was a disappointing Christmas.

ShuckingFit · 07/12/2016 20:11

Haha - that was a disappointing Christmas Grin

Funny buggers these kids aren't they?

JustSpeakSense · 07/12/2016 20:11

Greenfingeredmum lots of people have have issues with The shoebox appeal (operation Christmas child) due to their evangelical nature, inappropriate use of aid, etc etc. It is run by samaratins purse, a huge and zealous organisation which is openly homophobic, it seeks to convert in a manner that most people, find unacceptable. (There is lots of information online if you google it)

Wilhamenawonka · 07/12/2016 20:21

I asked for a pumice stone aged about 8. My great aunt bless her bought me one. Goodness only knows what i thought it was for

Waxlyrically · 07/12/2016 20:25

Mine are teenagers but in the past we have had to find a marching drum, boomerang, crutches and a real school register.

Okkitokkiunga · 07/12/2016 20:41

A potato
Xmas Grin

RebelRogue · 07/12/2016 20:43

Littlemonkey a real dragon or that stupid toy dragon that "burns" marshmallows with his "flame"?

altik · 07/12/2016 21:32

My DD has asked for some really odd things in her time...

A large cardboard box.
Dry roasted peanuts
A real school register

There are loads more, but I can't remember them now!

stillwantrachelshair · 07/12/2016 21:37

Mrs H - I got DS a whilst recently &, whilst it is ear piercing, it has brought him so much pleasure.

My children have always been remarkably sensible in their requests. I find it a bit disappointing.

Winterc00kie · 07/12/2016 21:58

Blue tak
A heart shaped ice cube tray
Appointment book for games like vets, drs n nurses or hairdresser's..... Xx

Keepon123 · 07/12/2016 22:03
