Shucking I have just remembered a friend bought a light sabre toy which used opposing magents to suspend things in mid air. It was 12 months ago, though. Was in The Range, I think

hopgarden1 · 07/12/2016 14:41

Pritt stick! Apparently other brands aren't available in this case!

Strawberryshortcake40 · 07/12/2016 14:47

My 9 year old DD wants Patrick Dempsey. Apparently she thinks he will make a nice new daddy for her.

She's adamant he will be sitting in the lounge on Christmas morning....

Your post sounds like the plot line of a schmatzy made for to Christmas movie Grin

Strawberryshortcake40 · 07/12/2016 14:52

Oh I hope so..... I will make sure I'm wearing my best pjs Christmas morning, just in case!

53rdAndBird · 07/12/2016 15:01

2-year-old DD wants:

  • "a little toy tractor"
  • "a little toy digger"
  • "a swimming pool"

Two out of three ain't bad...

LobsterQuadrille · 07/12/2016 15:35

When DD was small, she put "Brian plug" on her list.

It was an Allen key. Still no idea why she wanted one.

KingJoffreysRestingCuntface · 07/12/2016 15:37

The 'force in his hands' can be solved by buying him a plasma ball.

Felyne · 07/12/2016 15:54

3yo asked for a clone of himself.

RebelRogue · 07/12/2016 16:02

The first Xmas Dd was actually old enough to ask for something she asked for....cheese and bananas!! Every single time...including when we actually went to see Santa. Poor man looked so confused.

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer · 07/12/2016 16:04

Chocolate rabbit

Had to manage her expectations by talking about how wonderful chocolate reindeer were........much better than stupid rabbits

Then had to do an about turn when easter came round

stargirl1701 · 07/12/2016 16:05

A robot version of her nursery teacher this year on DD1's list.

EccentricPickle · 07/12/2016 16:08

DD2 (5) just asked for a noo toi when she wrote to Santa.

I love the spelling mistakes they make - so cute ❤️.

pinkpixie83 · 07/12/2016 16:11

My DS 6 has asked for superglue!

For when he's building his Lego, so he can stick it together!

Tiredmama123 · 07/12/2016 16:14

A 'nappy changing Fireman Sam' is what my two year old DS has asked for if anyone knows where I could get one of these from that would be great. Grin

SantasLittleMonkeyButler · 07/12/2016 16:15

DS1 has always been my "imaginative" child Xmas Grin.

Over the years he has asked for;

An apple picker (age 5).
Pogo stilts (11/12).
3 padlocks (one big, one bigger and one bigger than that).

And this year he wants a Raspberry Pi Confused. Thankfully DS2 was on hand to explain what that was before I considered buying an actual raspberry pie Blush.

SantasLittleMonkeyButler · 07/12/2016 16:16

DD's request for "a dragon with flames" seems doable by comparison Wink.

AugustRose · 07/12/2016 16:19

DS (5) hasn't written a proper list but at school a few weeks ago he said he was going to ask for a new duvet set!

I must point out that I have 20 single duvet covers in the cupboard of varying colours, characters and designs but apparently he would like a new one.

ChrissyHynde · 07/12/2016 16:21

Large elastic bands

Muddlingalongalone · 07/12/2016 16:31

2 years ago DD1 then aged 3 suddenly in front of Santa asked for a real kangaroo. The very brilliant Santa who had obviously fielded the question before said he wasn't allowed to transport
Last year, she asked for a magic egg that would transport her straight to disneyland Paris.
I'm not allowed to see her Santa list this year apparently although we will be unreality the envelope to write her real letter on Saturday so I might have to sneak a peek then!

Muddlingalongalone · 07/12/2016 16:31

*transport live animals - must proofread

Rooster44 · 07/12/2016 17:33

A tin of corned beef Grin

iklboo · 07/12/2016 17:50

DS once wrote a letter to FC:

A Nintendo DS & Mario games (prompted - it was already bought and in the wardrobe)
Some Lego
Just anything really thank you very much

yumscrumfatbum · 07/12/2016 17:52

A" wunsie"

ihearttc · 07/12/2016 17:52

DS2 asked for a Fireman's Pole last year when we went to see Father Christmas!

The big man was very good though and explained that he didn't think Rudolph would be able to carry it on his sleigh...DS2 simply said "but he's magic Im sure he'll find a way!"
