I agree that wheresthewine's DC means the ELC nose game. Lots of noses in a bag.

There is a tv programme called dinosaur train on nickelodeon (I think). Maybe that's what they mean?

My dd wants an umbrella so quite lucky this year!

A real life pony but just a small one from our 5 year old dsd . We live in a tiny London flat and from dss last year a helicopter he can fly in but again a small one

Aged 6, I asked for Boursin and a red pepper. I ate all of both immediately (and was not well for the rest of the day)

The pony reminded me - DD2 asked for a cow - a real life one. I said the garden was too small...she said she'd take it for walks...I said it would poo all over the grass and she couldn't play on it - and if she took it out for a walk how would she pick up its poo
She did get a cow - a plastic one (and playmobile ones and a cow Slyvanian family...and socks, pjs, hats etc - she was/is cow mad)

Wantons. He is 4. Wantons as in food. He likes them 😁

wheresthewine I believe Lidl do bags of 'Rudolph noses' sweets. Other supermarkets might do them too...

DS (6) wants a real Pokemon...

last year he wanted the real Sonic the Hedgehog.

Dd1 (14) has requested sprouts and men's hoodies this year.

Ds2 (2.11) wants a magazine, googly eyes and funny noses (pom poms), whereas dd2 (2.11) has asked for an insy winsy spider and a hickory dickory clock.
Dd3 (9 mo) has requested, via 10yo ds1, a laptop with minecraft

My 4 year old wants a double decker sofa with a ladder to climb up top and watch tv from.

My niece asked for 'a real life penguin' last year, this year a jet pack is top of the list!!

OdinsLoveChild My Goth stepson (who is now 22) asked me to get him a top hat about four years ago. l found a beautiful Victorian silk one on ebay. He was thrilled with it!

Oh, and two years ago, my best friend asked if l wanted a rabbit. A real one. Because l'd been going on for ages about wanting a house rabbit. So l chose Bertie and he was my best Christmas present ever.

My children have both written to Father Christmas and asked for a wish I've tried to claim magic is not for those under 18.

My daughter is a bit of a forager and loves collecting things while we're out but she's asked Santa for some toy leaves so she can keep them forever. And a yo yo! She's 3 so not sure she knows what one is!

When my daughter was 7, she asked Santa for a 'lemonade maker'. After some thinking Santa got her a soda streamer, she loved it and we still use it five years on.
