Our house is always a bit too warm. In order to make downstairs warm enough, the top two floors get hot. Its nice for us sitting in, but a real tree doesn't last long enough even with watering. So can't get ours until much closer to Christmas - think me and DD are picking one up on last day of school, on the 16th.

In the mean time we have a modern style lit one in the kitchen/dining downstairs.

Palomb I like coloured lights on other peoples because it reminds me of my nanas when we were little.

But they don't really suits the style of my house so I stick with white but love yours.

Ducks that is a lovely tree for the price. I keep saying I need to replace ours but when I see the price of some of them I am [shocked]

Sat waiting for my order in Argos there were three spindly undecorated display trees..they looked so sad and were £70

I hate spindly trees that you can see through but the Wilkos one is full.
We unfortunately had to have paramedics out for DD (all fine now, went into a weird stare-y trance after throwing up everywhere! ) just after we put the tree up and they even commented how bushy it is !

Ours won't be going up for another couple of weeks, but I'm loving looking at these. So far, I haves that with lights, more is more, and that I like big trees best, which is unfortunate as the tall ones cost too much.

We get a real tree every year as we live next to a tree farm, we also add a new ornament every year. All the ornaments have a Christmas memory.

I don't know when we are getting out first real tree for 18 yrs ...DH is working most weekends must try to coordinate a trip . I have put a little tree up in the kitchen dining area though so here is a pic as a placemarker... I luffs all your trees this thread has cheered me right up
