This thread is making me very emotional.
I lost my beloved mum in June, and I wasn't too bad at the time, but just recently the grief has been overwhelming. It seems to have been delayed somehow. I was doing fine and then wham! I think it's the time of year, because every time I think of Christmas, my stomach just flips over.
So I told my (grown up but still living at home) kids that I wasn't going to be doing Christmas this year - no tree, etc, no presents (I'll give them money). and we are going out for lunch and then I'm staying with a friend as I couldn't bear to be in the house.
However, now seeing all these beautiful trees .... maybe I will. Son is back from Uni next week, so he could maybe help me get the stuff down from the loft. If I do, I'll post back with a pic.
All your trees are just beautiful. Different shapes, sizes, styles and tastes, but all lovely in their different ways. Thank you for posting them.
