Ideas for those hard-to-buy-for men in our lives

I was going to ask on the bargain thread but thought it might be easier to have a separate thread.

Please come and share your ideas for the men you are buying for. I have DH and several adult relatives to buy for and am stumped. My only idea so far is a Star Wars Thumb Wars light sabre book for DN.

Help me move away from the Lynx gift sets please (or at least get them cheaper).

I have just bought dh a watch jewellery box. He likes watches but leaves them in random drawers and the kids move them so he can never find them. I think he will really like it but will now want more watches to fill it up!

Oh I forgot one. I'm getting DH this giant tub of jelly belly sweets to go with his presents.

Thanks Princess. I think I'll put that on my own Christmas list!

My late Dad was fond of just a minute cds as he did a lot of driving.

Otherwise subscriptions to the economist, history, national geographic, ancestry.co.uk.

I'm shamelessly placemarking as I have no ideas for DH of DGF.

DH is incredibly fussy ungrateful and will only accept the exact things he has asked for.

But I like to try and surprise him even though he hates it Grin

Dp has asked for the DNA testing kit from ancestory website lol. He's so hard to buy for!

Some fantastic ideas on this thread. I especially love the form cards and Compound 9. I'll definitely buy those

I find Boots 3 for 2 & Not on the High Street 'Stocking Fillers for Him' section have nice little bits for those hard- to-buy men that I'd have never thought of.

I often go for foodie bits, last year we found some lovely vintage Subutteo figure fridge magnets.

Just seen this t shirt, seems appropriate given Robert from the bargain thread

They also have some great piston heads t shirts for any petrol heads

If you're anywhere near a centre, indoor-skydiving vouchers?

We all went over the summer and it was great fun.

Last year I got DH a coffee subscription, bacon subscription and a magazine subscription, he especially liked the coffee I think.

Coffee subscription! That sounds like something for DH, especialyl as I don't drink coffee so would be completely for him. Which one did you use if you DH especially liked it?

In other news this thread has encouraged me to get on and buy DH some form cards since they have a 2 month delivery period. Dh has his birthday also in January, so I need to buy more than one gift Grin.

These car key USB sticks are good too, if you look on eBay they have lots of different cars Smile.

Or if they like Star Wars, maybe a light switch decal or a light up keyring Smile.

Coffee subscription we used was Cafe Direct.

I had a surprising success last year with flannel lined jeans. I bought them for DH to wear to football but he has become quite attached to them, very comfy apparently. He doesn't wear them folded at the bottom so they look like regular jeans.

DH is sooo hard to buy for. Buys himself anything he needs, only likes exspensive stuff.

For his birthday I got him a selfie stick for taking family selfies on days out (recently became a family of 4.) This was surprisingly successful.

And I've just found alcohol tea bags! Fusion tea bags to flavour gin / vodka. He will love these! www.infugintonic.uk

Have previously bought Apple Watch, nespresso machine, tickets to stuff. I told you - bloody exspensive!!

Any torch recommendations for my dh would be greatly received also.
Have added the grid it to my list for him. Genius.
