Ideas for those hard-to-buy-for men in our lives

I was going to ask on the bargain thread but thought it might be easier to have a separate thread.

Please come and share your ideas for the men you are buying for. I have DH and several adult relatives to buy for and am stumped. My only idea so far is a Star Wars Thumb Wars light sabre book for DN.

Help me move away from the Lynx gift sets please (or at least get them cheaper).

Some fab ideas on this thread! I've just spent the last hour when I should be asleep ordering stuff on Amazon. DP is working away this week so hopefully most of it should arrive before he gets back. We are going to Iceland for New Year which is our main present to each other, but I've also already got him Russell Howard tickets, a Photobox calendar of photos of the dogs, a multi tool thing, a spiralizer and a sweatshirt he wanted so was after bits and pieces/stocking fillers. Thanks to this thread I've ordered the Grid It organiser thing, Formcards (according to Amazon will be delivered this week), Sugru and the Fresh Balls stuff which I hadn't seen before and cracked me up Grin I'll get him some pjs, chocolate and beer and a few books and that'll be him done.

I can recommend Photobox for personalised photo gifts, I use them every year to do calendars for DP and my DM and DSD and they're brilliant quality.

I'm going to get cards against humanity for my younger brother.

No idea what to get my dad though, the only ideas on this thread which are "him" are subscriptions to the week or economist, which he already has!

I can't remember how to link but I've just bought my dad a funky veg pack from Amazon. He's a keen Gardner.

DF is a bit of a tinkererer, and I've bought him some of the FormCard thanks to the PP who mentioned them. Hopefully it'll be a hit.

Previous things that unexpectedly really made him happy include tissues printed to look like cash, like these but I got them for less (99p?) in home bargains. He took them to the pub and had much fun placing them on the floor and waiting for some unsuspecting fool to pick them up while giggling with his mates Hmm Grin

Other present ideas based on stuff I've bought for other males (DP/DB) - spotify subscription, LED poi, tool box, VR headset (cheap), Xbox games.

I ordered a couple of the Cocoon Grid It organizers from AliExpress for DP and FIL. They've just arrived and are great quality.

They were about £8 each and came from a seller called Idea Pocket. They took about 4-5 weeks to arrive though so probably too late to order for Xmas now I think.

I've been lurking and had some great ideas from this thread so thanks to everyone contributing for that. To add my own, I've just bought my husband a "Viking" drinking horn. I've just seen that the classic multi-colour pack of sugru on Amazon has gone down to 5.99 GBP! If you're looking to buy it this could be a good time. Have never seen it this cheap. So my DH i not getting Sugru and Formcards Grin.

I got my Dad a monthly sock subscription last year from Henry J Socks - henryjsocks.co.uk - he absolutely loved it, and the socks were gorgeous quality.

Past few years have got big coffee selection boxes (Whittards) for DB, coffee mug with espresso coffee in for him and also for his BIL.

Jumpers and sweatshirts (Fatface is brother's fave) from places like H&M, checked warm shirts too, try Gap etc for all. Socks in VW beetle van mug got from Fatface last year.

Got an automatic (on a spring?) credit card holder for DB for his birthday this year, gadget type but he saw it and really wanted it.

This year so far got some posh hair putty/wax from my hairdressers (for men) which he will like.

Other good presents for DB's FIL who's paraplegic and has cerebral palsy have been vouchers for Royal Opera House (he loves going there), one year was a really nice China mug from Whittard with small good espresso coffee bag, nice mint chocolate (Lindt?) wrapped in cellophane he really liked that. Got self stirring mug (for disability) but also for fun factor.

Also check what they like - DB's FIL is member of Bath Rugby Club so their website has excellent ideas.

For boyfriends in past has been nice (Joseph etc) shirts, cuff links, wallets, Red letter days out etc.

Stepdad shirts, ties, aftershave. Conditioner he uses in hair (Paul Mitchell).

I've got Exploding Kittens (like uno apparently, but with more exploding kittens) for my impossible to buy for friend who already owns Cards Against Humanity. They do a NSFW version but I went clean so we can play with the DCs.

Although I'm tempted to give it to myself, along with multicolour bargainous sugru thanks to this thread! Loves sugru, I do Smile.
