DH's PJ bottoms and a jumper. Grin

I have a gold/silver sequin mini skirt, grey fitted jumper, black opaque tights and black suede shoe boots to wear but realistically it'll be the pyjamas.

No visitors, lots of food and lounging around = comfiest clothes possible.

New pj (in the morning). Then a Cos jersey dress tent in black, high denier tights. Very sparkly earrings. Lots of bracelets. I am taking my fluffy slippers with me, though and claiming the sofa!

ChristmasEvePJs · 21/12/2015 07:46

Black skinny jeans and blush pink loose boxy top from Zara with beads and flat shoes.

brillohair I'm so glad someone has said a LBD. I was planning on wearing a black tea dress, but DP was a bit Hmm at wearing a black dress on Christmas day and I was starting to reconsider. However your dress is definitely a party dress, mine is all black with a round neck with, laver over the shoulder from the back, so the back looks more partyish than the front. Think I need a nice necklace to brighten the front up.

My grey jersey assymetric hem dress which is tight at the top/sleeves and then flares out into a riot of stitching, pleating and draping. It's as cosy as pyjamas and won't get in the way when I'm cooking.

I'd better not wear the interesting necklace that goes with it, though. It immediately absorbs the heat from the open oven! Scorched neck for Christmas is not a good look.

Janeymoo50 · 21/12/2015 08:31

Christmas leggings, Christmas jumper, antlers and hopefully some fancy new underwear underneath. Fun and comfy is my rule.

delilabell · 21/12/2015 08:48

This maternity dress with tights because then I can scoff myself silly and blame it on my bump ;-)

Black boucle knit skirt and black lace overlay knit top (from oasis ), love making a little bit of effort for Christmas! Am feeling a little out of sorts this year as postpartum and still have many wobbly bits ! Am hoping new treads will help feel a little bit nice. Could do with new boots and shoes but likely won't have them sorted by Christmas !
Have comfy PJ s and cosy slippers for after dinner though Wink

I'm wearing my festive lindy bop dress complete with alpine scene!

Skinny jeans and a floaty, sparkly top which hides a multitude of care bloat sins.

Ninkynonkrinkydonk · 21/12/2015 09:05

carb bloat fuck sake

DoctorTwo · 21/12/2015 10:16

Whatever's clean.

Green LK bennett chiffon dress. Ive had it for a few years but its great for Christmas.

ShesAStar · 21/12/2015 11:28

A gold lace 3/4 length skirt with a slash neck, black cashmere jumper, sheer tights and some high heels. I've got some gold and turquoise jewellery that never gets worn so will wear it Christmas and Boxing Day.

Heathcliff27 · 21/12/2015 11:29

Sadly I will also be wearing my work uniform. However, on christmas eve we will be having our festivities so I will be wearing black skinny jeans with a suitably cheesy christmas jumper.

Perfectlypurple · 21/12/2015 11:33

Jeans and t shirt until dh goes to work and my parents have gone (they are only popping in for half an hour). Then I will probably go for a walk and then put pjs on.

Pancake2015 · 21/12/2015 11:40

Jeans and a christmas jumper. Would prefer to stay in ny pyjamas but im going to my parents on the afternoon

WipsGlitter · 21/12/2015 11:42

Philoslothy that skirt is gorgeous.

I'm wearing boden trousers with a pattern and either a black cashmere jumper or a silky tee shirt.

Philoslothy · 21/12/2015 11:57

Thankyou WipS, my husband says that I look like Doris Day on crack - I am taking that as a compliment

JemimaMuddledUp · 21/12/2015 15:56

Boden Glitter Long Sleeve Top with skinny jeans. Sparkly but comfy Xmas Grin

IamFatherChristmasNOTsanta · 21/12/2015 17:21

I shall not be dressing up because I cant buy for my size its too depressing,.

However IF I was I would be wearing something ultra glam and sparkling,

Christmas day is a day to mark out by dressing up.

My Df used to wear a white tux Xmas Smile dm dressed up, it felt so special

IHaveBrilloHair · 21/12/2015 17:40

IAm
You absolutely can dress up.
I am covered in bruises, have a swollen face and tummy, most of my hair fell out then grew back looking like a mad barbed wire fence, and is falling out again, all because of meds I have to take.
Dress up and so what anyone else thinks.
