A white '70s' blouse from Zara with navy crepe wideleg trousers.

lavendersun · 19/12/2015 20:27

PJs, lycra for a bike ride to the pub 9 miles away, shower and then something fairly ordinary. I do have a christmas jumper though Grin, much too warm this year!

Sirona · 19/12/2015 20:30

I usually do dresses but I'm thinking this year I might do casual and plonk on jeans and a top. Dc are away for the first time ever at their dads and tbh I can't be bothered.

ScarlettDarling · 19/12/2015 20:35

Dear Lord BrilloHair , glad I'm not having Christmas dinner with you! I'll be wearing Christmas jumper and skinnies, couldn't cope with having to glam up to keep up with you!

Gorgeous dress though!

cigarsofthepharaoh · 19/12/2015 20:39

I have an Ann Summers elf outfit for the morning Blush It isn't too revealing, no PILs until dinner and the kids think it looks hilarious in my defence...

For when I'm entertaing adults and not under 10s, I have a Christmas jumper, white jeans, Christmas apron and red heels with a big satin bow.

DP will be in a comfortable yet colour appropriate (red/gold/green) dress I reckon

cigarsofthepharaoh · 19/12/2015 20:41

Ooh and both of us have Christmas earrings from Poundland, I'm super excited!

IHaveBrilloHair · 19/12/2015 21:04

Scarlett
It's just me and 14yr old dd here, I'm wearing a nice dress because I can, and like to, I sometimes dress up because it's Wednesday and other times wear pjs and a racoon hat because I feel like it Grin

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 19/12/2015 21:14

ooh yes I have Christmas earrings too (little enamel Christmas tree studs)....adds to list.

ScarlettDarling · 19/12/2015 22:02

BrilloHair great attitude! Enjoy your glam day!

cigarsofthepharaoh · 19/12/2015 22:10

70 when I saw them I bought a pair of each design in the shop and blew half my decoration budget for that shop. DD was not impressed Blush

Arrowfanatic · 20/12/2015 11:20

Just jeans and a tshirt, nothing fancy. I'll dress up a bit more and wear a nicer tshirt on boxing day as we have guests then. Christmas day I usually spend grovelling on the floor putting toys together and sticking all those tiny bloody stickers on plastic toy sets.

WoodleyPixie · 20/12/2015 11:26

Lady v London Lyra dress ladyvlondon.com/Retro-Red-Long-Sleeved-Lyra-Dress/#.VnaPrJTfWK1 unfortunately my boobs don't look as good in the dress as the model but it's very flattering the material doesn't crease (very man made fibres though) and so I'll feel comfortable in it plus it has sleeves.

I'll put a very heavily crystalled necklace on when we go out and heels which will be kicked off at the door. So tights and bare feet really.

Olecranon · 20/12/2015 12:07

Velvet harems from next and black sparkly jumper and Xmas tree earrings. Comfy but festive.

Paperblank · 20/12/2015 17:15

Black leggings, pink and black marl tunic, comfy comfy comfy.

Shall be 30 weeks pregnant so somewhat more stylish than pyjamas but just as, you guessed it, comfy!

StellaAlpina · 20/12/2015 17:47

A black jersey maternity dress with pink roses and a dark pink open cardigan. An outfit I wear to work a lot lol, but it's comfy and looks smart and I'll take the warm cardigan off to cook in.

DancingDuck · 20/12/2015 17:52

Black 'relaxed' skinny jeans (room for dinner and me in there at same time) with a long floaty top. It's the only Christmas outfit I don't feel fat and frumpy in this year, so it's getting lots of outings.

MelanieCheeks · 20/12/2015 17:52
  1. Christmas PJs - red/white nordic shorts and T from Marks.
  2. parkrun is good for your ELF ensemble - elf T from New look, stripey tights and elf over-knee socks from Claires, running skort and trainers, elf headband from poundland, dog's Xmas knit from TKMaxx
  3. Opening pressies etc - harem pants (oooh, must look at the velvet ones in Next!) and xmas sparkly T.
MizK · 20/12/2015 19:51

I always dress up a little, and this year I've found a high necked lace dress from warehouse in black and navy. Long sleeved and not too tight which are essential requirements as my family are keen on taking candid photos, usually when I'm slumped across a sofa eating chocolate Angry

I want Christmas earrings now!

popcornpaws · 20/12/2015 19:51

A jersey yumi dress from house of fraser, opaque tights and suede wedge ankle boots, looks very dressy but being made of fine knit it is very comfy.

laundryeverywhere · 20/12/2015 20:04

I have lost quite a bit of weight this year, so very excited to have an outfit in size 14! It's just black trousers and a pretty top from M&S. But size 14!
Dd was keen to were PJs all day so I got her some nice fluffy ones.

Shockers · 20/12/2015 20:08

Walking gear in the morning, then comfy stuff with an expandable waistband for the afternoon Xmas Grin

DickDewy · 20/12/2015 20:10

I'd like to say my White Company pjs, but we have a crowd so will have to get dressed.

I may wear a very sparkly top from H&M with my coated skinnies.

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 20/12/2015 20:19

A black fitted top, black tights and boots and as long as they suit me when they arrive some burgandy high waisted shorts

Philoslothy · 20/12/2015 21:03

Either this skirt and top combo

Or this too with black trousers
