Here's a link to Money Saving Expert for money saving at Christmas - has some of the same as posted by Reastie in the opening post but there's a few other price checker bots as well.

www.argos.co.uk/m/static/Product/partNumber/2498490/searchTerm/MY+LITTLE+PONY+AT+ARGOS.htm my little pony pinkie pies sweet shop is £6 at home bargains (this is the argos link). It was £19.99, it's £9.99 at argos. Obviously if you're going to utilise the 3 for 2 it moght make argos a better deal but if you don't need anything else from argos then £6 is a great price for this.

My build a bears and acrylic print arrived yesterday. Thank you so much those who posted the deals for them...

Is it weird that I have two dds and have never heard of smiggle?! I think I'm going to have a look at the website as you all seem to think it's fab and I feel like I'm missing out Grin.

Chocolateteabag · 26/09/2015 20:54

Flowers kiwidreamer - thank you for the Lego Racers tip - just got 2 for DS1 and his BF for Xmas presents

NeededANameChangeAnyway · 26/09/2015 21:02

I posted on the last thred but it looks like I was the last Grin

Im looking for Chuggington toys - the wee die cast ones preferably - has anyone seen them anywhere other than Amazon? The postage is more than the toy there...

Loki17 · 26/09/2015 21:05

Taken advantage of the argos 342 today; my DN'S are now sorted and dd has another gift in her pile. I totted DD's stuff up today. She has 10 presents and 4 (very decent, non tat) stocking fillers and I've spent £97 and saved £52. Making a list of things that she would want and then looking out for them going on sale is the way forward. I've got one more thing on my list and have left myself £35 for 'the twitch' Grin

Nc19999992 · 26/09/2015 21:09

Just checking in! Thanks to whoever posted the kiddizoom camera, got mil to buy it for dd!

RJnomaaaaaargh · 26/09/2015 21:17

Anyone who has an isme account keep an eye on the post. They've just changed to very and they sent me a £15 off my first order code, no minimum spend. I got did the my little pony booktique for £15 with free click and collect, cheapest I've seen it is £22.

imnottoofussed · 26/09/2015 21:19

Just ordered some chalk pens, dd will love them, she's been after some new pens for her whiteboard for a while, for £1 I think i'll let her have them when they arrive Grin

woodwaj · 26/09/2015 21:27

Namechange have you thought about using the amazon prime trial?

WindTheFrog · 26/09/2015 21:41

I really don't need any chalk pens but hearing how good they are I'm going to have to buy them now.

Thanks for the Lego racer spot. There's one more thing from my list!

Oh2beatsea · 26/09/2015 21:48

Can I ask if Smiggle ever do free delivery? Wondering whether to buy now or wait! Thanks

Pobspits · 26/09/2015 21:55

Jolly Christmas postman at lowest ever price of £4.24

Chocolateteabag · 26/09/2015 21:59

Right, that's Thread 2 put to bed (had to do something while DH was shouting at the Rugby). Where is WaitHorse - has she name changed? I liked the competitive thread closing last year. Seemed a shame to have no one helping me of course I picked the closing minutes of the rugby to do it ha ha ha

Need opinions please - Argos have had the Toot Toot Drivers Raceway on half price for well over a month (£100 down to £50) - is it actually worth it? Why has it been on sale/in stock for so long? Should I get it for Ds2's Birthday/Christmas present or just get a track set and add bits to it from eBay

candykane25 · 26/09/2015 22:00

Thank you Reastie.
All toys bought now, just presents for grown ups left.
Sangria you won't know me as I name changed a good while ago but you once came to my rescue on another thread and I have never forgotten, thank you.

GlowWine · 26/09/2015 22:02

Chalk pen coupon now gives you them for £3 They may not have bargained with the advertising power of MN!

candykane25 · 26/09/2015 22:03

Oh and I got the chslk pens! DD has a new blackboard wall decal so they will be brilliant for that.

FireflyGirl · 26/09/2015 22:11

Definitely worth even the £3.00! I'm very much of the 'you don't get nothing for nothing' school, but these are impressive!

GlowWine · 26/09/2015 22:19

Yes I have ordered them too! We have some that are running out, we've turned our patio doors into a drawing space, it's been a great success. Sorry, no online bargains to report, but Smiggle had quite a few nice things in the in store sale today, 40% off I think.

nothingcomestonothing · 26/09/2015 22:30

NameChange I've bought a couple of Chuggington trains in TK Maxx, it's very hit and miss though if/when they're in stock. I've bought some new-but-damaged-box ones on Ebay, might be cheaper than Amazon?

PjDay · 26/09/2015 22:48

15% off the book people today with TREE
12% off tomorrow and 10% off Monday with the same code.

NeededANameChangeAnyway · 26/09/2015 22:49

Thanks Nothing good idea

LittleMissGreen · 26/09/2015 22:50

NeededANameChange I think they have the diecast chuggington toys in the Entertainer (not completely sure as haven't had to buy them for a long time)

PinkSquash · 26/09/2015 22:53

Needed- the Entertainer has them for £2-3 each train. They have some track sets really cheap as well. You can get different ones occasionally on Tesco.com which are also through the Entertainer- confusing and odd, but worked for me in the past. Smile

Flowers Reastie love these Christmas threads!

LittleMissGreen · 26/09/2015 22:54

AndDeepBreathe thanks for the atlas tip. DS2 was telling me the other day how he loves looking at maps :-)

woodwaj · 26/09/2015 23:00

Pobspits I have had jolly postman in my wishlist and hadn't noticed it had come down in price 2 ordered!!

Chocolate if it helps boots also stock some toot toot things I think they are going to be on the 3 for 2 as well but with added bonus of advantage card points?
