I mentioned this company on the last thread when someone (sorry, can't remember who) asked about a discount for Baker Ross.

I've started getting supplies from here and have been really impressed with the quality and service. There are often a couple of quid off codes floating around, but to be honest they are pretty cheap anyway.

Littlemousewithcloggson · 26/09/2015 18:15

Mine have the live birds without cages and are very happy with them as they are. All the cage is is somewhere to put them and an extra £10 for that is quite a lot. Cage does fit 2 birds so agree it might be a good later present if they go down well!

Place marking and a reminder that The Book People have 15% off until midnight and it decreases over the next few days

Iggi999 · 26/09/2015 18:50

Anyone know if an 8 year old would enjoy having the wimpy kid books read to them - says 9+ on the BP website.

With the chalk pens do they check you have done a review after or is a good will kind thing.

Thank you for this, Reastie. You are making me get organised early this year.

Iggi999 · 26/09/2015 19:51

Thanks RJ and Wigglesrock. He has also asked for the Demon Dentist and I'm worrying about it giving away the truth of the tooth fairy, apparently! (And then the next stop is Santa, I suppose).

Iggi999 · 26/09/2015 19:52

Ooh, thread 3 and Strictly was on tonight - Christmas is coming.....

fluffywhitekittens · 26/09/2015 20:17

I've just ordered the chalk pens, thanks.

I had purchased a load of blackboard style stickers from China and the pens will be perfect.

FireflyGirl · 26/09/2015 20:31

Got my chalk pens today - I love them!

I painted the jars in my pantry with blackboard paint, but the chalk rubs off every time I pick them up. These pens are ideal!

I have tried them on the bedroom mirror, and can confirm that they rub off easily (but only if you deliberately rub at them - an accidental brush over doesn't move it). They say with a wet cloth or Windex, but they rubbed off the mirror with just my finger.

And in case it's relevant (ie if you were planning to paint your own plates ARockNRollNerd) blackboard paint comes off in the dishwasher Grin
