I thought I had better start a new thread in case the old one falls over at 1000 posts.

First of all I would like to say a big thank you to all those who have helped make this a huge success Thanks to all of you, life will be a little bit easier for some of our MNetters this year!

Firstly all of the MNetters - without you this would only have been a pipe dream! Givers and receivers - all take a bow

Then the corporates:
GLTC - for going well beyond the call of duty
Hazell -www.verko.co.uk- for her most generous offer of christmas trees - I hope you join in and make some new friends here
Great expectations - a lovely company with wonderful fairtraded toys and again help beyond what was expected.
LCC - to Jaysmummy for her crafty goodies and warm hearted support
www.thesweetiestop.co.uk - for their generous support

And of course it goes almost without saying, MNHQ!

**

How it works:

You email me:

[email protected]

as a giver or receiver. If a receiver I will ask for a bit more information to find a good match for you. If a giver I will find someone for you to send your gift to.

All matches to be done by 30 November (did I really promise that)

All gifts to be posted by 15 December (at the latest).

Hi!

I've had a few emails from people waiting to be matched - some more patiently than others

I will get to you all soon - I'm just working my way down the list, slowly but surely

People with early alphas who think they may have been overlooked, haven't been - honestly

There are three possible reasons for this:

i. Your offered gift matches well with a family where I am still waiting for RL address details

  1. Your original offer email was sent to my Joycemgrant account, all of these when forwarded ended up being filed as 'js', so will be hitting them some time today
  1. You are a giver and a receiver, in which case your emails are in a separate folder, which I will get to later on!

But everyone will get picked up but if you are posting from overseas like Sarah in Phuket - please do drop me an email reminding me of that and you will get priority matching status

Off to spend a little family time now- but will be back soon for more matching - so watch that email account

mummyhill · 25/11/2006 10:52

soapbox · 25/11/2006 15:29

Oh goodness if you only knew how 'tingly' I am feeling at the moment!

Wonderful, just wonderful things are going on to sort something out for someone. And it looks like it's going to work out thanks to a truely wonderful MNetter and her equally fab DH!

Shame I can't tell you...

Suffice to say, I've been sitting pressing my refresh button every 2 seconds for the last hour or so!

xmasmummy · 25/11/2006 15:31

faeriemum · 25/11/2006 15:32

soapbox · 25/11/2006 15:35

xmasmummy - email went out to you last night???

If you haven't got it, can you resend your's to me on:

[email protected]

and I will resend it to you - in case email addy for you wasn't the right one?

OP posts:
faeriemum · 25/11/2006 15:40

i was just ready to come off the computer...but now im sitting here refreshing.....why????????????

sweet innocent smile

soapbox · 25/11/2006 15:48

Sorry - refreshing my email not here - LOL

The giver may want to keep it as a surprise, so it may be a while before you hear anything!

Anyway - UNBELIEVABLY - I have just been through my inbox and no one has bagged that PS2 yet

First one on my receivers list to email me, with age appropriate children, gets it!!!!
