This is a nice gift for £15. It doesn't give you any ideas of the sample sizes unfortunately but does include a voucher for a free blow dry at Redken salons so a nice pampering treatSmile

Thelonius · 03/09/2015 18:29

Regis salon not Redken Blush

Reastie · 03/09/2015 19:23

Went to teach today and whilst there spotted some outdoor toys selling off very cheaply for the end of season. Good if you like to stock up for next year. I got an 8 ft pool thing down to £10, some Pom poms down from £3 to £1 and a pack of four bean bags down to 75p. There were a few other bits in my local store too.

Stillunexpected · 03/09/2015 20:50

Thelonius if you click on the shop now button on your link it gives the sample sizes as the following:Fudge Mini Dry Shampoo 50ml
label.m Protein Spray 50ml
Paul Mitchell Extra Body Daily Boost 100ml
Redken Diamond Oil Shampoo 50ml
Redken Diamond Oil Conditioner 30ml
Redken Diamond Oil Mask 30ml
Tigi Catwalk Shampoo & Conditioner Sachet
Wella SP Luxe Oil Mini
Free Blow Dry Voucher

Pretty good for less than the price of a blow dray really!

chocolateteabag Not sure if you are a member, but when I was in Costco they had the TootToot animals.

WoahBodyforrrrm · 03/09/2015 23:12

vinylscratch I got it from Amazon.co.uk. I'll warn you now, it wasn't a bargain but I couldn't resist as my DS4 loves all things Rainbow Dash and he's asked for 12 Rainbow Dashes for Christmas. So with this and the bargain hoodie, I only have ten more rainbow dashes to find Xmas Grin

Thank you sideorder and reastie for taking the time to do them.

Have no idea what to get my dd's yet, eek!

Scarydinosaurs · 04/09/2015 13:18

Good luck side!

Those Christmas hat chair covers on Amazon have gone from £7 to £10. I'm not going to bother with them now, as something funny and tacky for £7 isn't as funny at a tenner!

Any good suggestions for Christmas decorations? I've looked on Amazon and not been that impressed.

candykane25 · 04/09/2015 14:05

Best of of luck Chips!

FireflyGirl · 04/09/2015 14:24

How about these scary? Xmas Grin Someone off this thread started a tacky xmas items thread and posted these in jest. I snapped them up!

Notonthehighstreet do nice ones, but not cheap. Don'tknow if their free delivery offer is still on? Otherwise, are you near a Christmas market?

Good luck chips Flowers

IAmAPaleontologist · 04/09/2015 14:35

Has anybody got any advent calendar filling bargains?

We have home made ones we fill every year and I like to have alternatives to sweets/chocolate (although some days they do get sweets, I'm not that mean!). One year we needed new tree decorations so I got some little baubles and they got those each day to hang on the tree, last year I had a big box of Christmas stampers. I'm thinking along the lines of those little wooden trains so they could have the carriages on different days but most of the ones I have found are not very long. Or maybe some sort of craft thing/christmassy wooden beads/garland thing that they could get a piece of each day and add to.

ColeslawSandwich · 04/09/2015 15:30

Good luck chips! I'm over on your island for this weekend ????

livinginhope87 · 04/09/2015 15:32

Boots have 50% off sunglasses in store. I got a pair of Karen Millen ones for less than £20. Free case as well.

d270r0 · 04/09/2015 15:36

For advent calendars I've got a lego set and split it up so they get a little item per day, and done the same with the playmobil 1.2.3 christmas set.

IAmAPaleontologist · 04/09/2015 16:03

I keep coming back to lego too! I have bought a set of 3 Christmas mini figs off ebay which wasn't too badly priced, I was planning on having those as number 24.

Chrysanthemum5 · 04/09/2015 16:41

Good luck Side

For advent calendars we have a chocolate coin each day plus a piece of a Lego set. It does involve me sneaking a peak at the instructions each day to see how the piece fits in as the actual kit is kept as a surprise.

Sometimes I add in small notes eg make Christmas decorations for the birds, have a hot chocolate, watch a Christmas film etc.
