There must be a squillion threads along these lines, but I looked back a few pages and couldn't find any!

My DH is so hard to buy for, in that he doesn't really have hobbies and he isn't really into stuff that would be me in this relationship.

He likes reading but works such long hours that he only reads on holiday, and his book stack is growing rapidly. I've bought him a nice bottle of aftershave, CDs and some socks but would like to get him a big present, or at least a few nice smaller ones.

Any ideas?

Butterpuff you are a star, thank you will have a look into that, he would love a massage bit also! Is it a strong feeling? Smile

financialwizard · 04/12/2014 12:41

Batman dressing gown
Shot glasses
Retro sweets and other stuff I have forgotten about.

ChubbyKitty · 04/12/2014 14:15

I forgot the most important part - a Monsters University fleece blanket.

Hopefully stop him nicking my hello kitty blankets.

Butterpuff · 04/12/2014 14:19

madsadbad I haven't tried the car one myself but the one in the house is quite strong, it has little wheels with knobs on which rotate around as the go up and down. You can definitely feel your getting a massage, bit like some rather sturdy thumbs rubbing circles on your back.

GoldiandtheBears · 04/12/2014 14:24

I got my DH a nice leather satchel for work last year. He had a tatty old record bag before and this one is much more demure.

Galaxymum · 04/12/2014 14:41

PJs
Family Guy lounge pants (best buy last year so got a different pair!)
The Hobbit DVD extended edition
The Vikings Series 2
Toblerone

Need something else fun.

madsadbad · 04/12/2014 19:24

Butterpuff
You will wish you never answered me!
The target one you have, is it powerful? DH has back and shoulder problems from an accident and likes to build up to really deep tissue/sports type massages (these kill my little fingers) Grin
So thought if I could get something that does a deep massage that can be used on back/shoulder/neck- that would be perfect for me
I have seen lots of different ones by homedics, but always feel a little safer with a recommendation.
I look terrible his presents, whilst great for him are also doubling up to be good for me Blush
Thanks Flowers

Xbox game
Whisky

Can't think of anything else. He is very hard to buy for and would rather have nothing than token things that he doesn't really want or need.

Pantah630 · 04/12/2014 21:01

lemondrizzle if he complains I've bought him something I'll ship it all over to you Grin

Madasbad
I bought one of these massagers for my shoulders in desperation when I couldn't move. It certainly is strong and does work although is in the 'effective' rather than 'relaxing' category. I wouldn't have spent that much except I couldn't move and when I thought about it, it was really only the price of a couple of professional massages.
