Pinksquash how about a nice scarf, there are lovely cashmere pashminas on Amazon and ebay, or leather gloves from aldi?

IAlreadyToldYou thanks for that I'll take a look at pumpkin patch.

Nocutsnobutts I make some using pure coconut oil, adding natural wax pellets. About two thirds coconut to one third pellets, melted in bain marie over stove. Then once in lip balm pots add one drop of peppermint or orange essential oil mixing with a toothpick and let cool. Coconut, wax pellets, lip balm tins and essential oils available on ebay and for £10 spend you'd make loads plus keep yourself very happy in lip balm over winter Wink

nodramamama · 08/11/2014 14:21

Pinksquash I love the look of these, available in lots of colours, and am thinking of getting this one for secret santa plus some of the delish aldi chocolate.

Has anyone seen Rarity and Applejack from MY Little Pony anywhere? Only 3 things on DDs Christmas list and these are two of them.

MooseyMoo · 08/11/2014 14:57

Flip Yes, but its instore only and minimum spend of £20

HermioneWeasley · 08/11/2014 14:58

Has anyone seen any special buys on iTunes gift cards? Places sometimes have £25 for £20, that sort of thing ?

IsabellaRoarsome · 08/11/2014 15:01

Nado I'm in the same boat! Have every other pony except apple jack and rarity! If I track them down I'll let you know asap.

WannaSplitAPineapple · 08/11/2014 15:03

I've got another present to buy. My secret Santa likes candles but we only have a limit of £5. I don't know her decor style/colour so I'm thinking something neutral or Christmassy. Any lovely suggestions?

I've just added those lip balm bits to my basket nod they sound lovely. What quantities do you use and how many tins does it fill?

Nadoligcynhir · 08/11/2014 15:03

Thank you isabella shall do the same.

TheFantasticMrsFox · 08/11/2014 15:09

Ooh, I have just joined the Hotel Chocolat Tasting Club. I went through TopCashback, got a taster box for £9.95 instead of £22 odd and £6 odd cashback :)
I shall of course be cancelling as soon as my first box arrives :o

sweetkitty · 08/11/2014 15:10

Nado - I got Rarity in Asda for £5 the little one I found Princess Cadance
On Tesco this morning

nodramamama · 08/11/2014 15:10

Wannasplit check pinterest.com and YouTube for ideas but I'd suggest buying several tins and making a bunch all in one go. For example 100g coconut oil will easily fill 10 of the 10ml lip balm pots, because you'll be padding it out with the wax pellets which helps harden the oil. The more wax you use the harder the balm. You can use the same recipe for general hand, nail and body balms, experiment with things like lavender and peppermint oils for a sleepy Dream balm, or frankincense and jasmin perhaps for a beauty balm, the essential oils can be pricey but you'll make so many things.... Grin

WannaSplitAPineapple · 08/11/2014 15:16

Thanks nod I've got some lavender in so I'll have a little go.

The entertainer and the entertainer as a seller at tesco have rarity
here and here that's only at a quick glance. DS isn't too well and he's fallen asleep on me so daren't move so what better way to spend my time!

nodramamama · 08/11/2014 15:17

Wannasplit here's a choc peppermint idea, yum:

Nadoligcynhir · 08/11/2014 15:18

sweet thanks but none local to me, I checked 2 Asda's this morning and Tesco. I've just managed to get rarity online at Tesco but have had to pay £3 for postage...I hate paying postage!

OhCobblers · 08/11/2014 15:20

Rarity and Applejack MLP both on amazon but not sure if they're "bargain" prices??

nodramamama · 08/11/2014 15:21

And another link, but with more expensive tins:

Nadoligcynhir · 08/11/2014 15:24

I have seen them on amazon but £17 instead of £5. If I haven't managed to find by mid December then I will consider.

Nadoligcynhir · 08/11/2014 15:27

Thanks wanna

stacysmom · 08/11/2014 15:40

Thank you for the Hotel Chocolat tip-off Mrs Fox! Thats perfect for my friend - although if she'll get the body butter too is debatable!

Lioninthesun · 08/11/2014 15:42

Looking for a 14" bike for DD - preferably not too girly but main thing is trying to get it for around £50 Confused as that is the last of the Christmas budget. She fit her 12" one last week but this week it's too small and already with the seat and handlebars as extended as possible! And there was smug me thinking I had done all my shopping and was organised! Help!

iloveholidays · 08/11/2014 15:44

looking for mario kart 8 for wii. Does anyone know how I can get it for under £40? thank you!Smile

3pigsinblanketsandasausagerole · 08/11/2014 15:53

I think I need to quit this thread

TheWildOnes · 08/11/2014 16:01

Have just bought DSs advent calendar, normally go for Lego but I've got the Playmobil dragon one this year, only 13.80 on amazon so not a bad price. DD Normally has a Lego one too but she is now 11 and I'm not sure what to do for her, think she feels a bit too grown up for it but I worry she may feel left out if she only has a choocolate one.

chocolatereindeer · 08/11/2014 16:10

lion check halfords they had one for £35 last week
