My wondee scarf and surf dome socks came today. Really impressed with quality of both. Plus socks are West Ham type colours so DS will like them! Has anyone seen any cheap personalised water bottles? They have them on Identity Direct but they are £15 each.

Fluffycloudland77 · 08/11/2014 12:11

TY YaMas for the Coca Cola truck link. For the first time it's going to be near us, I am so excited!

tethersend · 08/11/2014 12:41

Does anyone know if the leappad xdi would be good for 6yo girl? That's a good price...

5amisnotmorning · 08/11/2014 12:43

Tethersend I also found on the thread (first page) the discount code for Smyths which would make it £69 but after I ordered!

5amisnotmorning · 08/11/2014 12:44

5amisnotmorning · 08/11/2014 12:44

missmakesstuff · 08/11/2014 12:50

You lot are amazing! Thanks marmalade that's fab, going to get the book for our town. Bet Santa flies quickly over the dodgy bits of town, there's a chance he'd lose his reindeer!
thanks cumber too, I've gone for the first free issue of rouler and will give him that for Xmas, he can have the option of the subs for his birthday in Jan...
so gar he has the flavourly beer, two cycling books, the mag, a multi tool and a batsman Lego alarm clock. Think that may be him dobe as we are off to Bruges for a break on the 29th, anymore bargains will do for his birthday though. Thinking of putying all the cycling stuff in a hamper, not sure how to do it though, something to do with bikes would be good...

Olivo · 08/11/2014 12:55

Aria, thank you.I will def get the angry birds game for one of them and will check out the other things on your list.

Went to the entertainer this morning, lots of good reductions, got DD a frozen watch for £2, some non barbie/ Disney ( cheap prob from china) Anna and Elsa dolls (£5.40) each.the DDs have had them today and are very pleased with them .

tethersend · 08/11/2014 13:15

Thanks 5am- have used the code and bought it for £69... That's almost half the price it's on at Very. She better like it Grin

snowmanshoes · 08/11/2014 13:18

Disneystore have selected pj's/nighties down to £10 and selected toys at 25% off online. Not lots of choice but may help someone.

margaritasbythesea · 08/11/2014 13:22

Lego batman alarm clock? How did I miss that?

beadyboo · 08/11/2014 13:38

I'm looking for a personalised cake tin or biscuit tin for my dad, which I will fill with goodies and add a voucher for regular replenishment over the year. Not on the high street is lovely, but fairly pricey, any suggestions?
Also DD1 is 7 and pokemon cards have reared their heads at school. She is desperate for some even though she has no idea what to do with them. A quick online search has shown them to be expensive and a real collectors item. I had naively assumed they would be a couple if pounds per packet and available at every newsagent, but not so. Anyone any experience of them? Hints and tips? Thanks

PoopPoooDeDooo · 08/11/2014 13:39

Does anyone know where the cheapest place to buy Advent calendars is? I'd really like to buy some to donate to the foodbank

PoopPoooDeDooo · 08/11/2014 13:44

Beadyboo have you tried etsy? If you haven't used them before I can refer you and you get £5 off (disclaimer I think I might get something too)

happsymum · 08/11/2014 13:45

pooppooodedoo b&m or poundland? I noticed in stevenage they now have a 97p store too- may have them elsewhere too

PoopPoooDeDooo · 08/11/2014 13:52

Thanks happsy. I'll pop into b&m and £land to have a look. I don't think we have a 97p shop but I like their style Grin

PinkSquash · 08/11/2014 13:57

I received a £10 Boden voucher in the post this morning, I also found 25% off with free del & returns using code G6W9 valid til 13/11.

Got DH a tee for £2.75, bargain!

Any ideas of what to get my lovely grandmother? She doesn't eat chocolate and needs nothing. Am so stumped with what to get her, from the DC at least.

FlipFlippingFlippers · 08/11/2014 14:13

Is it the current issue of Glamour that there is a h&m discount card. Can it be used online?

bluesky · 08/11/2014 14:13

Pinksquash, how about a posh jam or honey? Or lovely smelling handcream.
