What was your best childhood christmas present ever? :D

I'm torn between a wig I got one year and a set of glitter fun wombles I got another year :)

I think age 8/9 was peak excitement for me at Christmas and I think that is mainly the pressies I remember. Other pretty good hits were:

An emu puppet
a big bear with tartan legs and elastic on its feet that you could hook through your own feet so you could dance with it
A bed for a barbie type doll made out a shoe box
A weebles playground set
a small lego set (just mixed bricks etc)

A Fisher Price camper van. You can't get them any more, but I managed to find an old one on ebay and play with it more than my DC!

I was also given a tin of dog food one year. We got a puppy a few months later!

Clackers and a Stylophone.
And a Hollie hobby doll.

I wasn't allowed clackers or a stylophone but I did have a Hollie Hobby doll. And a pogo stick. And skates!

My best presents were a red cassette recorder which I used to record the Christmas Top of the Pops and later, a transistor radio to listen to Radio Luxembourg on
