I managed to get the two things I was after from sainsburys. There is an Octobuggy for Peso and one for Barnacles in the Sainsburys sale at £7.50 each. Better than on Amazon. Would go well with the Octolab.

SurvivalOfTheUnfittest · 23/10/2013 13:45

And get well Reastie...

Mellowandfruitful · 23/10/2013 13:51

Where is it that's got the Octolab at a good price? Sorry, have scanned through but I'm not seeing it.

Sleepstarved · 23/10/2013 13:53

Went to Sainsburys this morning, most of it has been mentioned up thread but there was also Baby Annabel half price at £22 and another cheaper baby doll with accessories inc a buggy for £12.50.
Not overwhelmed though.

Hawkmoth · 23/10/2013 13:54

Sonic screwdriver.

And cockerel Grin

The playmobil DVD is quite short but very very exciting for a four year old boy. I also got a free multiplay set which will be a good stocking filler.

HavingAnOffDAy · 23/10/2013 13:55

neddle · 23/10/2013 13:59

printer people

I emailed a complaint to Amazon direct about the fiasco with the nonexistent despatch and cancellation emails.

Just got a call from them to say that they were sorry, but couldn't get tohem to send a printer - best they could do is force a refund if they hadn't already.

But he said that they would look into the seller and see why they were sending despatch emails when they hadn't gone out and why they cancelled so late - my email arrived at 4.06pm yesterday.

They might do something if more people complain?

GardenWorm · 23/10/2013 14:13

Bit of a lurker but have an allegedly unique online Matalan code if anyone wants it.... Need to use today: 23583D6A43 has to be click and collect and gets £5 off £20 or more. Hope it's of use to someone Smile

iloveholidays · 23/10/2013 14:16

has anyone used the hobbycraft 15% off voucher instore on the Christmas 3 for 2 yet?

Also, does anyone understand why the matalan Christmas duvet sets aren't online? was after the single ones.

Thank you

joymaker · 23/10/2013 14:21

Good to know neddle I haven't got a cancellation yet but if (can't believe I'm still hoping)/when I get it I definately will be complaining and pushing for some Amazon vouchers by way of compensation while I'm at it I really need a new printer, DS2 (15m) has bashed the hell out of the one I have.

JaquelineHyde · 23/10/2013 14:28

We seem a bit slow on here at the moment...Hope everyone is ok?

Could we please start posting all the HDUK deals please I am really missing them and can't use the site, it gives me a headache.

Also has anyone started the bargainous food and drink thread as I think I am about ready to start stockpiling the goodies.

WitchesCatAmongThePhantoms · 23/10/2013 14:28

I went to the Sainsburys sale, it was heaving and there wasn't much there to start with but I still spent £32.45. Most of it wasn't half price which was really disappointing.

Postman Pat vehicle: £6.65
Toy kettle: £1.99
Tea set £1.99
Fireman Sam jigsaw £3.99
Voice changer darth vader mask £14.99
Fireman Sam figures £3.33

Saved £25.49 so it can't be all bad I suppose.

ScornedWoman · 23/10/2013 14:34

I haven't opened the 3 Kings yet, as I bought them as Xmas decorations (and even I haven't got them up yet!), but I'm sure they'll be cute.
We've just watched the DVD and it is a thinly disguised toy advert. DS1 watched it, then announced he wants the Native Village, which is result, as there's one stuffed in the understairs cupboard for him!

neddle · 23/10/2013 14:39

joymaker can't believe they haven't cancelled yours yet. It's really poor service to do that. All day monday and yesterday, I was looking out the window everytime something drove past.

Not really surprised I didn't get it, but was still hoping until they cancelled Sad.
I did need a printer too.

comeandgo · 23/10/2013 14:46

I have just sent a complaint to Amazon regarding the printer.

I didn't get the cancellation email till 5pm on the day it was due to be delievered which is disgusting customer service.

I mentioned that.

Fingers crossed Amazon respond in a postive way.

LalyRawr · 23/10/2013 14:56

Code TY22 gets 10% off a £35 spend at Baker Ross. No idea if it is single use or not, just got in the box with my stuff.

SurvivalOfTheUnfittest · 23/10/2013 14:58

Octolab price was in Amazon this a.m. Haven't checked this afternoon.

confusedalways · 23/10/2013 14:59

Ooh I got my flavourly box today and I love it! Tempted to order one to keep myself as this was a gift for someone.

Might keep the subscription for next month too. Does anyone else think it's worth paying £15 for, or am I caught up in the excitement do you think?

Reastie · 23/10/2013 15:00

thanks survival and holiday

Has anyone seen this lovely big Kroom Noah's Ark down from £24.99 to £9.72!

It's cool and a nice big gift for a small child.

sweetsomethings · 23/10/2013 15:10

ProtectiveMother · 23/10/2013 15:12
