Sainsburys was rubbish. Got a Barbie and unicorn 1/2 price £12.50. That's it.

All Barbies were 1/2 price, Lego 25% off .

I have just caved and bought the three wise men set and the smaller nativity set (playmobil) from Amazon. I wanted the big nativity set but could not justify £25 on it. Got both for £17.88 so happy with that. I think. I will look for the bigger one in January when hopefully it would be cheaper. The reason why I am not so keen on the smaller one is it looks more like a wigwam in the snow. Not how I imagine Bethlehem but apparently it does snow there sometimes!

The baby Jesus is nicer on the little set. He looks like a Storm Trooper in the big set.

valium I'm after the £25 playmobil nativity set too but am waiting for the price to drop but I'm sure it won't drop much as Christmas gets closer :(

I was at my local sainsburys just before 10, very quiet, not the best sale but still managed to spend £70!

My local Sainsburys had some good half price deals, some playmobil inc knights castle, Happyland, some duplo sets inc 'play with letters', the market stall, Thomas stuff, big garage, lots of their own brand stuff. Peppa pig, my little pony and playdoh were a 3rd off. Lego 25% off.

Got my spicery sale stuff yesterday, was very impressed. They gave me a few free samples too.

Our Sainsbury's Sale wasn't the best.

One very small aisle of toys and four or five end of aisle displays.

They did have Ninja Turtles but mostly it was turtles. No April O'Neil either. I bought a Rat King because we don't have many bad guys.

But the aisle, small as it was, was packed with people just pushing each other and moaning about everyone else being there. The rat king was £7.49 but I think I might have been better paying full price somewhere else to avoid all that.

Bloody hell our local Sainsbury was heaving, full of lunatics dragging two trollies round loaded up with God knows how many toys!

Phew that is quite a bit isn't it, but nothing compared to some people.

That's an original price of £153.32, but I paid £76.67. So a whopping saving of £76.65!

I have been to my local Sainsbury's and just ended up getting a little Sophia the first toy and also a Peppa Pig Ferris Wheel which was £10 down from £15 which will do as presents for my godchild child. Was really hoping they'd have some little Sylvanian bits in the sale like some family sets or the carry cases with the babies in but nothing!

For anyone else looking at Playmobil Nativity, it might be worth ordering from the Playmobil page, as they gave me a free Halloween set (a mummy figure inside a pumpkin) and a DVD (haven't watched it, but think it's a probably a promotional thing for the spy range) when I ordered the 3 Kings.

Have been lurking for ages and had so many bargains - thank you all! For anyone looking for a cuddly Neep (Abney and Teal), I hadn't seen one cheaper than £13 but seen one on Binxie today for £10.88 incl. delivery. Not a huge saving but doubt it will get much cheaper neep if you add a couple of cheap bits from their sale they have a 5 % off offer if you buy three items with a total over £10.

The Peppa Christmas DVD is back down to £3 on Amazon. It had gone up to £12 so I thought I'd missed it.

He got a barbie and three outfits for DSD and a half price Playmobil Police Humvee for DS. Also picked up a sonic saw driver for 7.50... We go through a lot of them in this house.

My EBay Christmas enamel brooches arrived today. They are lovely. Though this may out me, I'm so looking forward to wearing mine and accusing people of looking at my big red cockerel.

Scornedwoman the playmobil website is considerably more expensive though, and no doubt charge for delivery. Have you got your kings yet? They look lovely.
