Peppa Pig Christmas DVD back up to £9.99 on amazon :(

It was £3 when I viewed the item, then went up to £9.99 when I added it to the basket. Bad times.

Got to get something for DD2, who will be 9 months old. I think it's a bit pointless buying for a tiny baby but DD1 will get ever so upset if she thinks FC has forgotten her baby sister.

Any cheap ideas that look a bit impressive (to a 3 yo?!)

Do keep an eye on the peppa pig DVD. It was 9.99 for ages yesterday and then when I went to look last night it was back down to £3. Apart from that I am also stuck for ideas for my 3yo.

Thanks for the tips about Lego star wars - it's so expensive isn't it? Went to Sainsburys sale, want overly impressed but then it's quite a small store. Got a few orchard toys games, mainly for party presents. And a half price vtech zebra for dd to grow into.

Just been to Morrisons and they have a multipack of 3 £10 iTunes vouchers for £25.
Got my Mum to drive me to Hobbycraft 1 hour round trip to pick up my order, phoned before hand explaining I couln't print off my confirmation. They said no problem just bring your IPad and ID. Got there only to find they had no wifi! They wouldn't let me have the stuff despite me having the matching card the order was paid with, and a passport and the order number. I had to go to Macdonalds, use their wifi and take a screen shot, all for under £10 of craft stuff!

Oh yes a bath boat is a great idea, bathtime is really the best part of their day together so DD1 will approve of that.

I found myself in Sainsbury's this morning sans children. Not much more to add, except to say that their kitchen and food toys looked to be lovely quality and were very cheap. Sadly our toy kitchen is already stocked better than my own kitchen, so no bargains to be had for me there.

I did find a Barbie Mariposa doll for £12.50 which I ordered from Amazon a couple of days ago at £18-something-or-other. I managed to sprint outside, wave my phone around and find enough 3G to cancel my Amazon order and buy the cheaper one. I also bought a half price nerf gun that rarely drops much below RRP on Amazon and some Disney figures at a not so bargainous 25% off.

I'm a bit about the Barbie and unicorn set which was only 25% off in our local store (not 50% off as posted up thread). Maybe I read the wrong label. I'm also disappointed not to have spotted the £5 cash register as that's on my list.

Not bad considering I only popped in for some of their own branded Shredded Wheat though!

Marcheline DS2 was 2 weeks old for his first Christmas, he got a bear from the Bear Factory, and a gift voucher to buy him some clothes, they usually do a £10 gift voucher for £5 when you spend over a certain amount near Christmas. After Christmas we had a lovely day out and DD and DS1 an outfit for DS2's bear.

comeandgo I saw Peppa Pig soft toys in the Sainsbury's sale, I think they were around £3 odd, only had a quick peek as we have enough PP toys!
