nickdrakeslovechild · 19/10/2013 17:30

In Ikea they had some great little 3d moulds for chocolate or icing a set of 3 which was a snowman, christmas tree and bell for £1.49. It wasnt with the christmas stuff it was hidden away in the kitchen bits so you may need to hunt around.

notso · 19/10/2013 17:33

This isn't a massive bargain but if you have any Adidas fans you can create your own trainers, track suit top, bag or flip flops on the Adidas website, if you sign up for the newsletter first you get 15% off. I have done this for DH's birthday as he is a huge collector of Adidas and he was over the moon. The tops and trainers are £60-£70 and the bags or flip flops are £25.

SpookyTeacakes · 19/10/2013 17:41

Thanks moosey. They're saying it won't be online Sad

AliceinSlumberland · 19/10/2013 17:42

The playmobil pull along dolls house that several people kindly recommended to me is down to 19.99.

I'm struggling to find the info for the Storm Trooper / Star Wars back packs, dunno why I'm being such a dunce about it but if anyone can remember where they were I'd really appreciated it!

So we've seen all of these fab magazine subscriptions.... but i want to purchase a years sub to BBC History Mag for a gift and can't find any offers. Best price I can see is £37 for 13 issues. Can anyone find me better??Thanks

TooWetToWoo · 19/10/2013 18:08

BBC History mag £5 for first 5 issues then £19 for each 6 after that.

ThisIsMeNow · 19/10/2013 18:25

I've just been to pick up my bargain tesco Christmas tree Grin
Very tempted to put it up already Smile

Was disappointed with ikea decorations though. Got a window curtain light thingy but not much else apart from all the biscuits

Has anyone seen any really reasonably cheap shabby chic or inthe style ones?

Reastie · 19/10/2013 18:28

moosey did did elf on the shelf for the first time last year (DD was nearly 2) and she LOVED it. She's going to like it even more this year! She still talks about her elf even now completely unprompted!

When I went out into the real world today, to collect a very disappointing 'bonus' box of awesome, I went to TK Maxx and got a beautiful leather bound notebook for £2 for my DM, a lovely journal for £4 (found for £9 online) for BF and got the Underland by Suzanne Collins, book set of 5 for £5 - was priced at £7.99 but the packaging was all ripped up. I'm trying to open DSS's mind to the fact there are books other than Wimpy Kid and Mr Gum, but he's not got the reading stamina or maturity for The Hunger Games :)

Reastie · 19/10/2013 18:40

The boden free scarf - do you add it to the basket or does it all happen automatically? Have entered the code and got 15% off but no scarf showing in basket...

Thanks ToWetTooWoo... but i think that's a bit bitty as a gift...recipient might be Hmm at a nine mth subscript! Different if it's for myself.... thanks anyway though.

Am really Envy at missing EB candle. Serves me right for going on holiday and having rubbish reception Wink.

Watching with interest re boden scarf...

Mandy21 · 19/10/2013 19:04

Boden scarf - its just added to the delivery, I just emailed them once I got the order confirmation to check. Its not one of the current range but still very nice.

TooWetToWoo · 19/10/2013 19:10

clr if you just went for the first subscription term after the 5 issue trial it would work out at £24 for 11 issues. Unless you want 12 months+, I could have another look.

zipzap · 19/10/2013 19:10

There's half price washi tape at sainsburys. it's with all the summer notebooks and stationery that's reduced - they seem to be doing it in waves - more has been added in the last couple of days and more has gone from 50 to 70% off.

MooseyMoo · 19/10/2013 19:19

reastie which elf did you buy in the end? I'm elf hunting at the mo

themummyonthebus · 19/10/2013 19:25

Someone linked to a site with nice crockery on one of the previous threads where I found a lovely spoon rest (beach houses on it) but my browser has crashed and I've lost the link Blush Does it ring any bells for anyone or could someone suggest where I might be able to find something similar? Thanks
