moosey where did you get your washi tape from ?

Titsalinabumsquash · 19/10/2013 14:23

I went to IKEA this morning, I bought 3 elves :) and lots of Christmas tableware and gingerbread houses. Grin

I also went to Dulnem Mill and got the Christmas throws for the kids.

I had a look in Smyths toys but noting took my fancy.

I need a pogo stick as cheap as poss and one of those wiggle car things or similar, or outdoor toys in general that my boys can belt about on although not bikes or scooters as they have them already.

MooseyMoo · 19/10/2013 14:34

Thanks guilty but I don't have an Ikea near me and DH hates it there Sad

Theonlyoneiknow washi tapes. I bought gold, silver, holly pattern and these corner patterns (pic does not do it justice). I got blue/silver and peach/gold.

reastie found your old thread about Elf on the shelf from last year.

DD and DH currently putting asda kitchen together Grin

I popped into ELC earlier and they have a sale on, they had a Happyland Train set which was reduced from £40 to £20 which DS (22 months) loved and had a tantrum over leaving it on our way out of the shop if that helps anyone!

Also at 'The Works' they had lots of reduced things like puzzles, books and games. I didn't get much time to look, but I'll be popping in there sans DS soon!

DreamlessSleep · 19/10/2013 14:54

My cosmetics fairy stuff came. Apart from one of my items being out of stock its brilliant. All decent stuff and no testers. (Might have kept a glitter pot for myself.)

3birthdaybunnies · 19/10/2013 15:10

SPARK10 also for 10% off a £30+ spend at the book people until 10 Nov.

MistressIggi · 19/10/2013 15:41

Tk Maxx good for socks sets - have a number of different types, Bench, Ben Sherman, French Connection, Pringle - in boxes, and for about £7-10.

TooWetToWoo · 19/10/2013 15:42

Rhinopotamus · 19/10/2013 15:46

I just used the vertbaudet code to buy a hat, scarf and.gloves set for Ds2. Seemed to work fine. Paying the postage was annoying though!

Cataline · 19/10/2013 15:46

Has anybody spotted Scene it-Harry Potter for a good price? I've found the full version for around £20 and the 2nd edition for about £10 but am holding out for a mega bargain and totally blaming you guys for making me this way Grin

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 19/10/2013 16:34

Been to town today - got some Deadly 60 bubble baths, 3 for £1.50 in Boots for stockings, and a table top air hockey set for £10 in Morrisons. I also got myself some Hearmuffs in JL!

craftynclothy · 19/10/2013 16:35

Theonlyoneiknow Paperchase also have Washi tape sometimes (not sure if it's seasonal or if they just don't have it in my local store). I've bought it from Etsy in the past too.

Dh ordered himself a hoody and jeans from The Hut with the 15% off code last night, along with some canvas shoe things. Then I took advantage of the Matalan code to order some jeans as my current jeans have been worn to death one pair actually has a hole in the crotch Blush.

craftynclothy · 19/10/2013 16:36

Oh and I've just had a letter from Country Living saying there has been a delay with my wellies and they'll be with me within the next 28 days. Fingers crossed they are.

SpookyTeacakes · 19/10/2013 16:40

Moosey how sure are they? It's always been on a Thursday before?

TooWetToWoo · 19/10/2013 16:47

Has anybody received their Gift of Murad set from Glamour? I'm still waiting, have emailed them to find out what's happening.

nickdrakeslovechild · 19/10/2013 16:47

Cataline b&m were doing Harry potter scene it last year for £4.99.

In b&m today they have the pack of 8 Christmas pudding or Santa bin bags for 99p.

DreaduCated · 19/10/2013 16:55

Anyone looking for Sylvannians, just popped into my local Home Bargains and spotted this, Cedar Terrace House including family, furniture and saloon car (which seems to be RRP £19.99 by itself) all for £49.99 Smile

DreaduCated · 19/10/2013 17:00

Hmm, just Googled again and spotted the Cedar Terrace is cheaper elsewhere, but that seems to be for the house alone, so still looks like a decent set for £49.99.

Ilikesweetpeas · 19/10/2013 17:09

Too wet- I haven't had my Murad set either. Would be interested to hear what they reply to you is. Thanks!

Cataline · 19/10/2013 17:11

guilty and nick thanks for the Works and B&M tips. Will check out both tomorrow!
Also planning another sneaky trip to IKEA tomorrow as I'm sure they hadn't put out all the Christmas stuff when I went on Tuesday!
