It's Portsmouth/Southampton way Grin maybe you need a day trip?

ValiumQueen · 20/10/2013 21:02

Waterlooville is just north of Portsmouth. My old stomping ground.

Leilandri · 20/10/2013 21:04

I'm in Somerset, no B&M or Home Bargains here, but both have opened 30 miles away in Weston-super-Mare, along with a The Range.
We are also missing an Aldi deprived sobs so I regularly make the trip up and scout them all in one glorious childfree bargain shopping day.
11 days til payday, so I can go again! Grin

missmakesstuff · 20/10/2013 21:08

We have one 35mins away, in Canterbury...don't think I can justify a day out there just for the one shop though...can I? Would I be absolutely guaranteed to save lots of money? whilst spending loads on things I don't need

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 20/10/2013 21:10

For sale; one thread baby. Only partially used

iloveholidays · 20/10/2013 21:12

Waterlooville was the one I ventured to last week for my first Home bargains experience!! I'm no longer a home bargains virgin Grin

meerschweinchen · 20/10/2013 21:15

Girl I'll have her on loan for a bit to give you a break

creepycadence · 20/10/2013 21:25

Thank you 500internalerror for the letterbox basket suggestion, I'll have a look.
And Justasmallgless Thank you for that re the Home Bargains baskets, I'll check them out I think. It's good to know that you can order from the website to have things delivered in store too, I didn't know that so thanks :)

Does anyone know where I can get some cheap paper bags as in the type you get pick n mix sweets in? We've got some nieces and nephews coming Boxing Day and I'd like to do them all a little goody bag with sweets, chocs, a little book etc. I've seen brown paper bags in Home Bargains but wasn't really fussed on brown for a Christmas party. White would be fine or coloured ones. Sorry not really a Christmassy request.

missmakesstuff · 20/10/2013 21:26

Just one code that I think will work - 3DEL for 40% off calendars and diaries from Photobox - I am going to sign up s DH, order my three calendars for xmas presents and effectively get one for free - and go through Quidco - 6.50 cashback....sneaky!

MissElodie · 20/10/2013 21:29

Thanks so much LizardQueenie for Ella's Kitchen code for JoJo - it does indeed work on the scooters Grin

Right that's 2 mini micro scooters bought this week - both less than RRP thanks to this thread Flowers. I just need to hope MIL will put some money towards them for the DC's Christmas present so it can make a small dent in paying off the credit card!

missmakesstuff · 20/10/2013 21:31

Meant to add, that is free delivery over £18 and by midnight Thursday!

Mipe · 20/10/2013 21:32

Marne thank you for the Boden link, have also ordered that cat skirt :).

Eddas · 20/10/2013 21:33

creepy ebay for paper bags, i've bought them on there for PTA use for sweets

iloveholidays · 20/10/2013 21:33

Creepy. Try ebay... Something like this here

iloveholidays · 20/10/2013 21:36

Creepy other option is festive cellophane bags...

like this

Leilandri · 20/10/2013 21:38

Creepy you could use the brown paper ones, and get your DC to decorate them with stamps, glitter etc as an Xmas activity?

I've bought a roll of brown paper fo rmy boys to decorate, and then wrap their pressies to relatives in.

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 20/10/2013 21:41

Lily I may run away and not come back!

WaitMonkey · 20/10/2013 21:45

I'm here Livey Grin

3birthdaybunnies · 20/10/2013 21:46

Is it bad that I am planning half term trips to relatives based on proximity to primark & home bargains? Maybe we need to campaign for more HB in the south east - lets e-mail en mass and lobby them.

WaitMonkey · 20/10/2013 21:47

Going to try my best, Reastie . Grin

WaitMonkey · 20/10/2013 21:48

Oh, a world with more Home Bargains sounds my sort of place.Grin
