HoneyBooBooDragon - what are the Black Friday threads? (I Amy have been living in a toddler/work induced Blackhole for the last few years)

Anyone up for some Posh Graffiti? "SPOOKY" gives you 15% off for the next 15 days. (this was emailed to me btw) they do the lovely letters etc in silver gold black etc can be £££ but I've got our family initials on the wall and have given friends theirs as a wedding present before. We've also got the small white letters as Christmas tree decorations.

Lurleene · 17/10/2013 13:24

Hi bluesky, both the flutes and glasses are plain. I've tried to do a link but failed. If you look on the Sainsburys site they are the Purity flutes and Simplicity glasses. £6 online, £1.80 instore.

Kyrptonite · 17/10/2013 13:25

I went to real shops and now have no idea what's happened here :-(

Got lots of puppets from ikea ( hand and finger), an elf and a toy goat (DD (3) list is a goat, a horse and a yo yo). Then DP phoned and said he's lost his bloody job Angry

I need bargains more than ever

trixymalixy · 17/10/2013 13:25

Riiiight, so pming someone to have a dig at them is acceptable is it?!?!?

SpookyTeacakes · 17/10/2013 13:26

Oh kryptomite I'm really sorry to hear that

Reastie · 17/10/2013 13:26

Thanks for that message holidays, I was up to date (I think) until bargaingate so would appreciate any consolidation so I don't have to depress myself reading all that again.

TwerkingNinetoFive · 17/10/2013 13:27

Not really a bargin but people seem to find it hard to get things for older boys/men same thing really I got this last year and it was fab. Hardly amazons best kept secret but thought I'd link it anyway.

RiverRocks · 17/10/2013 13:28

I'm going to put my hard hat on, but for the sake of anyone who prefers to look at HUKD deals on here, they have just posted about a Star Wars scooter on for £7.49 at Sainsburys, with postage of £3.95 = £11.44.

I don't know how to post links, but it's here:

iloveholidays · 17/10/2013 13:28

I went to a phoenix card party this morning and they had some lovely advent calendars. They were £7.50 each and didn't involve chocolate Grin but lovely. I've ordered a snow village scene with lots of little cardboard houses you make up. Can either do it daily or make in advance and put something under them. Also trees to make to include in scene.

Mama1980 · 17/10/2013 13:29

Yep reastie it was Grin most of us were desperately trying to restart the bargains in the hope it will all go away. I have pm d Isaac too and I believe most posts were deleted after a lot of us reported.
Onwards and upwards (hopefully!)

Not sure if it's any use to anyone but just got a email saying Marie Claire next month will have a free Shea butter with it worth £8 you just buy the mag off the shelves but I thought I'd give you all a heads up.

HappyAsEyeAm · 17/10/2013 13:29

Thanks for the link to The Spicery - its a great suggestion.

I am going to buy a 12 months subscription for PIL. Are there any codes that anyone knows of for that please? Probably the World Kitchen rather than the Friday Night Curry, but I don't really mind. Thanks in advance.

Badvoc · 17/10/2013 13:30

I'm not exactly sure what's happened?
Buy hope everyone is ok?
Anyway...my buys this week...
Lovely red Xmas blankets from matalan. For £5 - they are lovely and I think may be on 3 for2?
Also been on the tickseed website for stocking fillers...really good site.
Also check out the 4 finger led lights on amazon for 42p!! :)

iloveholidays · 17/10/2013 13:31

reastie, I really don't want to read it all but don't want to miss any bargain Grin

I'm happy to go through this evening but won't have time this afternoon.

Kyrptonite · 17/10/2013 13:31

Thanks spooky. I'm on mat leave so I think I might have to consider going back (DS2 is only 5 weeks) or getting some night work in a supermarket whilst DP takes whatever he can.

Ooh asda had paint your own piggy banks for £1.50 and avengers figures for £1 if that helps anyone.

Hiya just wanna say thanks for all the bargains, thanks to this thread I have finished Dd presents but I still want to get the elc rescue station for my Ds but the best offer I have seen is reduced to £80 but no other codes seem to work with it? Any ideas? Long shot I know x

Snowgirl1 · 17/10/2013 13:37

Wiggly Wigglers are offering £10 off this bird food pack (normally £37.60) with the code SAVE10. Might be a good gift for bird lovers (along with a bird feeder?)? Delivery is £2.95 though.

Shwmae01 · 17/10/2013 13:38

Exactly what I was thinking H20intolerant Hmm

HereComesHoneyBooBooDragon · 17/10/2013 13:41

ChocolateTeaBag

Black Friday threads go like this

We all check our bank balance. We all congregate ready for the bargains and then admire all the stockpiled shit Amazon want to shift fabulous time limited bargains.

We moan that stuff isn't cheap enough and purchase stupid tat we probably don't want and point and laugh at some of the weirder stuff.

We get into a total frenzy about the mega mystery bargains that will be on the last day, then moan and moan and moan when it's something shit, like a Turnip Shredder.

They are Brilliant, you do get the odd decent deal though. I. In it for a new pair of boots this year.

SpookyTeacakes · 17/10/2013 13:42

I love the Black Friday threads! Was also on maternity leave last year and bought stuff I didn't need Grin

HereComesHoneyBooBooDragon · 17/10/2013 13:44

My favourite part is dog coat hysteria and the angst over sizes. Every year.

Reastie will love it! give her a well earned break in November Wink

MistressIggi · 17/10/2013 13:45

Have just ordered my free wine from the Naked Wine people (voucher from lakeland purchase). Got duplicates so I feel able to give 3 of them away!
I had a stock alert on the ASda wooden shop thingy £25 down from £50 might suit someone?

SpinningSpider · 17/10/2013 13:46

Snowgirl1 · 17/10/2013 13:46
