Fluffy I think people were just a bit Hmm as the, umm, argument started on a previous thread but I can see how it might have looked to you if you only saw what was said this morning.

Anyway hope you're getting some bargains! Smile

SpinningSpider · 17/10/2013 13:58

Have reported you spookypumpkins.

BuffyFairy · 17/10/2013 14:00

Twoshoes thanks for the twin dolls link. I love the look of the ELC newborn doll but then I could get 2 dolls cheaper than that one and not have to worry about sending DH out post birth to pick up the right doll. Aargh, what to do?!

Reastie, love the Xmas busy book advent calendar idea. I might have to steal that. Grin

spookypumpkins -reported. This is in danger of turning into a bullying witch hunt. I'm not bymoonlight.

HQ can see that I am not. Though given this reaction I can see why she may have left along with others.

I came on here today to hopefully add to the bargains, but to be honest I think some people have another agenda.

I've just tried to order the Death Star case as linked upthread. It says eligible for free supersaver delivery but this option isnt available when I go to place the order. Does anyone have any ideas how to sort this? I NEED this for DS!! Grin

TwerkingNinetoFive · 17/10/2013 14:09

Its up to mnhq to decide if anyone has broken rules.
I'm genuinely upset that my favourite thread is now being ruined and some of the regular posters like isaac have been scared off by a minority who are either winding people up or don't understand the situation.
I'm going to spit my dummy out and join them. This thread used to be so much fun.

SpookyPumpkins · 17/10/2013 14:09

Is it over £10 cataline?

ScarerAndFuck · 17/10/2013 14:10

Why comment on something already being dealt with by MNHQ if not to prolong the argument and stir up the bad feeling?

If you have useful links and things to share, share them, but don't just come on and goad and then start shouting about troll hunting and witch hunts just when the whole thing had died down.

Fluffytent · 17/10/2013 14:11

Reported. Again.

It is exactly for these kind of messages that this bullying to me and others previously needs to stop. I believe it is right to comment on what I've just read, and don't think people should be behaving like some on this Xmas thread.

Reastie · 17/10/2013 14:11

Erm, should I start a new thread early do we can just get back to being all lovely and friendly?

For whoever it was that was thinking about playmobil football...

ds wanted that and I found it half price at Argos but they never had it in stock and it was full price everywhere else so I gave up on the idea. He also wanted rugby as that's his favourite game, but obviously impossible as they don't do it.

I ended up getting him a subutteo pitch (aka a large piece of green felt with the pitch printed in white on it) and dh made him some simple goals with bits of wood and dowling we had around. And he loves it - whenever he watches rugby, the pitch and players come out. As we already had plenty of playmobil people I didn't get any extras but that's fine as he's more than happy to play asterix & co against the police or the egyptians against the cowboys etc.

And in bargain territory too - it was about a fiver including postage for the rugby one. Think the footie ones are cheaper as they're more common. Or you could get a big green fleece from ikea for a couple of pounds (or from a fabric shop or john lewis etc) and a white fabric pen and draw it yourself. Can also be turned over and used as a field/playing area/anything else so good for lots of creative play.

If you want to have at least some players, look on ebay - there are lots of people that sell them, especially from Malta I think, where they are made. You can also buy them by the 5 or 10, often not in a box but significantly cheaper than buying them singly.
team on ebay

Fluffytent · 17/10/2013 14:13

Think I'll join you and others in leaving. Maybe reastie can start a splinter thread and leave the arguers here?

Cataline · 17/10/2013 14:13

spookypumpkins It's not- they've changed the rules recently haven't they so only orders over £10 qualify?

HereComesHoneyBooBooDragon · 17/10/2013 14:13

Well, if you can face doing it now Reastie, I would.
