Sixth thread Shock but it’s OK we are allowed to get excited about Christmas now as it’s September

I’ve been a bit sporadic with this OP in what has been selected for adding in or not as there are too many links to add them all in, hope I haven’t forgotten anything major. Please forgive the fact that so many sale and amazon products aren’t individually linked or are linked but price may since change by the time you click on it - so many of them are out of stock and amazon seem to change prices on an almost hourly basis (it feels like) on a number of items that were previously linked to. I haven’t checked all links to see if prices have altered since last thread so apologies if youg et very excited followed by disappointed. I will try to do better next time. As usual please tell me if any of these links/codes don’t work or if there’s anything particularly you want to be in the next OP (assuming there is another Wink ) how would I do any shopping without you now

Thanks for all your help in helping my christmas shopping in 2013 be once again bargainous Grin

Any codes for baker Ross?Smile

PoppyWearer · 14/09/2013 09:18

I got the camera for my DCs to muck about with. Not too bothered if it's past expiry date TBH.

ProtectiveMother · 14/09/2013 09:19

The cameras will be fine.

SpottyTeacakes · 14/09/2013 09:22

Oreo I'm trying to do the canvas but it keeps trying to charge me £11 at the end? I don't really understand. I've already paid £9 for the voucher (£57) which is the cost of the canvas, it's then £2.95 for the border and £5.95 for the postage, which is fine but I don't understand the £11 aaaahhhhh!!

SpottyTeacakes · 14/09/2013 09:25

Oh I think they added on something without me realising grrrr

RhondaJean · 14/09/2013 09:30

Monster high school playlet £67.49 on amazon - cheapest I have seen it. Anyone seen any better price for it? I'm sorely tempted to buy it for dd2 but it's her birthday this month, am forking out for party and birthday presents, and hadn't planned on buying anything "big" (am trying to be sensible this year with the finances).

RhondaJean · 14/09/2013 09:32

Am answering my own question - is same price now at smyths and Argos, does anyone know if there's a 3 for 2 due next weekend at Argos with it being bank holiday?

Rosvita · 14/09/2013 10:00

Zip zap - so the £7 you donate for the mug goes directly to feeding a child for a year?i may do that instead then-not heard of the charit before but looks good!

Reastie · 14/09/2013 10:16

Achica (see link in OP) have loads of lovely Melissa and Doug stuff on today, just bought up presents for DDs friends for the next 3 years I think Blush

Reastie · 14/09/2013 10:17

Oh, and OP link gives £10 off first order, would be rude not to buy something Wink

Looking for lovely warm good quality mens jumper for DH for christmas on offer if anyone spots anything

OP posts:
supermariossister · 14/09/2013 10:22

samples turned up today from gucci guilty, hugo boss, escada and lacoste. they are all on cards though and you pull back the front so not sure how that would work for advents or such as the cards are postcard size

LoreleisSecret · 14/09/2013 10:26

Very naughty of Toys r us!
The RRP of that Little tikes car carrier has never been more than £29.99. I have bought a few of these over the past 4 years (my son/godson/nephew)
Quite deceptive of them really.
It is a much loved you in this house though !

bymoonlight · 14/09/2013 10:31

How do you get the £10 off because it isn't showing in my basket.

A lot of the Melissa & Doug things are reduced to the same price as they are on Amazon, so only a saving if you can get the £10 off.

jamtoast12 · 14/09/2013 10:35

I asked about argos 3 for 2 yesterday in store, the lady said its unlikely to be on before October as its been on twice this month (one for all toys and once for selected toys). My guess 3 for 2 will go on once the 25% off stops! The staff are very cagey about it though...think they want the best deals!

WithConfidence · 14/09/2013 10:39

bymoon, check your inbox, I just got an email from them with a code.

SpottyTeacakes · 14/09/2013 10:47

Bymoon I've got a 20% off one ACHICA20SMAG but the email is only £10 off if you recommend a friend and they order too

TeaAndCakeOrDeath · 14/09/2013 10:51

9908087729993 gives you £5 off a £30 spend at ToysRUs

Chockywockydoodah · 14/09/2013 11:29

I agree with Bymoon, beware that the Melissa & Doug things on Achica are not bargains, they are the same prices as TK Maxx, Amazon and even Ebay.

Reastie · 14/09/2013 11:34

Blush sorry about that. Still good offer if you use the £10 voucher though

OP posts:
bymoonlight · 14/09/2013 11:35

I received my code in the end, thanks anyway spotty Smile.

Decided not to order as half of the £10 saving is eaten up by P&P so not really much of a saving when you consider prices are not really reduced.

RhondaJean · 14/09/2013 12:03

Think I will hold put for a bit anyway jam, it's only just gone down today, and see what happens. In the meantime any amazon/smyths/Argos codes gratefully accepted here please!

bymoonlight · 14/09/2013 12:18

Bit of a random request but does anyone know where you can buy indoor guinea pig huts at a decent price?

DD's are getting GP's and I need a hutch!

attheendoftheday · 14/09/2013 12:31

tea and withconfidence my elemis arrived today! The box is pretty much ok, a tiny crumple in one corner but ok to give as a gift to my good friend as intended. Hooray!

attheendoftheday · 14/09/2013 12:33

bymoonlight hutches are so expensive these days. Have you considered a secondhand one? The cheaper new ones are often dead small for the piggies.

hoppingmad · 14/09/2013 12:34

Bymoon - we got ours at www.littepetwarehouse.co.uk
Got a massive one for a brilliant price
