Thanking you muchly.

The Jolly Christmas Postman arrived this morning and is so very luffly. I need more like this. I need 24 books so I can wrap them all individually and put them all out on Dec 1st and my DS's can take turns choosing each night.

I have a few others but nowhere near enough. My boys are 4 and 7 ( though 5 and 8 by Christmas!).

What are your favourites, pretty please.

The Snowman - Raymond Briggs
Father Christmas - Raymond Briggs
There is a Thomas book set at Christmas and also a Mr Man one, a version of 'A Christmas Carols, although don't really want to go rummaging around in DS's room to look for their exact titles right now.

That's such a lovely idea! I am shamelessly stealing it. At 2 1/2 I'm not sure DS1 will appreciate it as much as me but tough!

Twas the night before Christmas... A classic!

I had a lovely version of The Twelve Days of Christmas as a child which I read again and again. I can't see it on Amazon, but I would look through them in a bookshop and pick one you like.

The Tomten and The Tomten And The Fox are wonderful winter books - not Christmassy exactly but they are so snowy and beautiful that I think they would fit.

The Tailor of Gloucester.

janx · 16/07/2012 21:33

Olive the other reindeer

OvO · 16/07/2012 21:34

Oh yes, good point joan, any wintery/snowy books would work too.

I was convinced my thread would go unanswered as its only July. Grin
