A parcel from a very generous Santa has arrived: a wonderful Playmobil advent calendar to get our family in the mood for Christmas. I think I'm probably more excited about it than my boys Grin.

A HUGE thank you to Secret Santa 913. The gift card arrived this morning and what perfect timing. My DS2 has been asking for one specific present for weeks now and I had been asking my DH daily if we'd have the money for it. It wasn't a huge thing he asked for and I felt so bad that we couldn't afford it. But thanks to you we now can! Grin Honestly, you have made my DS2's Christmas (though he doesn't know it yet of course!). I reserved it straight away and even better it's on offer so I was able to afford something my DS1 had wanted too. I wish I could kiss you, lovely, wonderful 913! I am like this Grin now.

So on Christmas day just think of my two boys and know how happy you have made another Mumsnetters family and I hope your family will be as happy. ThanksGrin

I'm not entirely sure who its from as its direct from the company.

But thank you so so so much to the MNer who has sent my dcs the beautiful wooden farm, they will adore it. Really so perfect, they always play with the one set up in our local toyshop. I am so so touched and grateful, such genorosity to a stranger.

This was such a wonderful surprise, yesterday we found out our babys heart had stopped beating, I should be 13wks today and on top of everything it was overwhelmingly painful. I'd just got off the phone from a midwife talking about options and got this beautiful gift thank you so much xxxx

This is such a fab thing that mumsnet do. I have had a horrid week with sad news seemingly from all directions, but I've just seen the thank you from the lovely person who I sent a little gift to and it's really cheered me up Smile
I feel so lucky to have had the chance to do something small for someone else. Blush

to the wonderful secret santa 127107 - thank you so much for the two beautifully wrapped presents for my son and i that arrived this morning. to the amusement of my postman thinking is was very off 'the mumsnetter of the house'. i never have anything to open when my boy opens his presents - so this year it will be wonderful to have somethings to open with him. we are hoping to get a litte tree this weekend from freecycle so they will take pride of place underneath it. i cant wait for him to come home from football this evening and see his wrapped present. it will be even more exciting for him to know its come from someone that doesn't exactly know us but wanted to make our christmas more enjoyable. thank you again and i hope you and your family have the fantastic christmas you definetely deserve. xxx

(I'm sorry that it has taken a while to reply - but the RM lost it - I had a missed delivery on Tuesday - arranged for it to be redelivered to a more convenient PO, and then they couldn't find it as some ninny had put it in the BigPackages section rather than the SpecialDelivery section so all's well that ends well, and I fetched it this evening.)
