God I always wanted a Mr Frosty and never got one. I think all 7 of us asked for one year after year but Mum decided once she had said no to one of us the other 6 stood no chance!

I suspect DS will be off somewhere in 20-30 years complaining about how deprived he was because I've banned Ben10 and Power Rangers from the house. The poor soul.

A dog

one of those tiny electronic keyboard things...stylophone?

TooManyBlossoms · 21/09/2011 15:21

Oh yeah, Weebles! I'd forgotten about those. My friend had a weeble castle with a witch; it had a big gate that dropped down to imprison her. I REALLY wanted one of those.

And the playdoh mop top hair shop.

fruitshootsandheaves · 21/09/2011 15:23

(obviously a dog isn't a toy of course before you all shout at me...but i so desperately wanted one!)

there are loads of Mr Frosties on Ebay you should all get one for Christmas!

PotatoSkins · 21/09/2011 15:27

I had a sasha doll!! tbh I would rather have had a tiny tears at the time but never got that. Lord knows what happened to it, as they go for a fortune now.

TooManyBlossoms · 21/09/2011 15:29

One toy I did get was this. God I spent hours playing with it! In fact I feel so nostalgic, I may have to buy it for myself Grin

TooManyBlossoms · 21/09/2011 15:31

Eek those Sasha dolls are terrifying! stuff nightmares are made of

PotatoSkins · 21/09/2011 15:35

i will try to find the one I used to have. light brown face with very long ash blonde hair.

fruitshootsandheaves · 21/09/2011 15:36

Was fab played all the time on it. Can't believe that one is £55 are they mad.
I've still got mine!

PotatoSkins · 21/09/2011 15:37

PotatoSkins · 21/09/2011 15:38

try again

PotatoSkins · 21/09/2011 15:39

the one top right with the checked dress, and i also remember the blue dress on the left, so must've had clothes for her at some stage.

noddyholder · 21/09/2011 15:40

Girls world was my absolute dream

iliketea · 21/09/2011 15:41

I was desperate for one of those doll's heads for styling hair / doing make up.

Still feel deprived 30 years later, and blame my parents for my inability to style my hair properly or know what to do with anything more than mascara and clear lip gloss.

Zoggsrus · 21/09/2011 15:41

mousetrap

Dillydollydaydream · 21/09/2011 15:44

Oh my goodness!
I truly thought I was the only hard done by child that wasn't allowed a mr frosty!
To this day I still mention how I wanted this toy but never got it :(

blackteaplease · 21/09/2011 15:49

I also wanted a mr frosty and never got one, nor a girls world. I did have some my little ponys and a toy pot office set that was really cool.

Thumbwitch · 21/09/2011 15:56

am amazed so many people wanted a Mr Frosty - did it have a really cool (ha!) advert or something?

pramsgalore · 21/09/2011 15:57

PotatoSkins thoses dolls are scary
ObviouslyOblivious you can get them off ebay, my ds has one they are great when everything is glued down Smile
our dc's have no idea, how hard done by we all were, all those missing longed for toys santa never brought us, just the toys our parents thought we wanted, how wrong were they, thats it, i shall buy my dd's that rubbish moxie doll on horse they are desperate for, other wise they will be on here in years to come complaining about what santa never bought them Grin

I always wanted a walkman, I asked every year crimbo and bday, I brought my own with my first few saved up wages ( worked in chik king washin dishes when I was 13 )

I did have a mr frosty but no refill flavours so plain ice wasn't greatSad
