To those of you with 14yo dd's - what have you got them?

I am the queen of disorganised at Christmas and am still trying to think of what to get dd! She has in my opinion, everything she needs, and hasn't asked for anything over the top, as she knows we can't afford what she really wants, ie macbook laptop or Xbox. She has a laptop anyhow and a playstation but they are very old. I suggested clothes from Superdry but she said they would be too expensive. She does like to open a lot of 'bits' too. Grr silly me but hoping someone might have an idea I haven't thought of. Thanks in advance.

Soap and Glory have a huge bag of goodies on offer at Boots atm. £25 reduced from £60 I think.

I'm struggling with DD. She has a jewellery box from Past Times, a few books, Pandora beads (would rather have avoided that but my mum started it), an eyeshadow set from Asos, wash bag, a onesie from M&S, ditto dressing gown, a JellyBelly bath set, and I want to get some make up brushes and maybe a cinema voucher.

There's nothing there that she really wants, though, and I always feel guilty on Christmas day when the boys are thrilled top have got most of the stuff on their list and she's politely saying 'thank you.'

Some good ideas above, though. I might also get a sequined cushion I've seen at BHS for her too-tasteful room, and maybe a silver lamp.

Thanks for the ideas. Have noted books, and pj's. She said today that 'make up was rubbish for a present' as she has loads, same for straigtners, ipod, and most of the other stuff listed. See what I mean! I can't get to a Primark, and she is going to hairdressers this week anyhow. Please keep the suggestions coming though, much appreciated.

ooh she might like the light jar, will go in there and look at them, although it looks a bit naff on the pic for the price...I sound very bah humbug, but am truly skint and want to spend the money I haven't got on stuff that is worth the money.

Slippers she has, also has dressing gown but it is old and was second hand, but still ok.

I got the soap and glory stuff, they have but 2 get one free.

A make-up box, hoodie, necklace, post office high street voucher as this can be used in a lot of shops like, New Look, Claire accessories, Tammy etc.

My DD is getting theatre tickets, a Superdry hoodie, Glee DVDs, that Soap and Glory bag thingy (£25 from £60) and some books.

Well, my hand was kind of forced when my mum bought the bracelet for her birthday. Opened up a whole Pandora's box that did!

is chat man the thing you add to computer and it tells you what it thinks of your friends etc? I did google it but wasn't sure what I was looking at.
