Yesterday I received a gorgeous pack of coasters that we can put pictures in, and a box from Amazon with toys including a Rubiks magic puzzle for my ds's.

I want to say a huge thank you to whichever person sent them. They are perfect and the feeling someone cares enough to have nominated and / or bought for us makes a difference. Two weeks ago we thought we were about to become homeless after a bloody rough year and although that has passed we're still feeling very shaken and it's so good to have some light out there. Christmas stands between now and our ds4 being seen at the Paediatrician's request (for those who don't know ds1 has asd, ds2 dyspraxia and ADD, ds3 asd) and this has given me the Christmas spirit I was missing.

allgoodnamestaken - final gift on way via findmeagift.com from 27D; should be there this week but was delayed slightly. Couldn't add a gift mesaage to this one, but it is intended as a shared gift for both DDs.

Me too, thighs made of cheddar. My parcel should have arrived by now.

Another possibility I've just thought of is if the person is out when the parcel arrives it could have been sent back to the post office and be waiting for the nominee to go and pick it up/rearrange delivery.

1. 12D - Thank you very much for the kind treat of a gift voucher, much appreciated, I'll probably use it to get a few books for DS for Xmas from WHS.

1. 11D - Thank you very much for the thoughtful selection of treats for all the family, I'm afraid the chocolates and lego have already been discovered (left them visible in the kitchen) so not quite managed to save them for Xmas, thank you for the effort you went to in choosing all the lovely items.

But most of all, I am so touched that people have made so much effort to give me and my family a bit of extra sunshine this Xmas

TotalChaos glad it got there - the post has been a nightmare around here as we've been snowbound so I was quite worried it wouldn't arrive in time. would have wished to do more if I could as I'm rather humbled by the amazing stories on this thread.

I got two more parcels this morning, containing gifts for DD1 and DD2.

Thank you so much to my secret santa, you have been so generous and kind. My DC are going to love the things you bought for them, you really couldn't have picked better.

I know its not Christmas yet but I have been wearing the perfume you bought me, couldn't resist it It feels so lovely to have something for me, such a treat.

Reallywoundup I'm glad the voucher arrived ok, sorry it's taken me so long to acknowledge your thank you - I've been away on a course with no time to MN, and arrived home to a DD with chickenpox!
