I've been present-planning and was suddenly struck by the certain realisation that nobody is currently thinking about what I would like. And I realise that, actually, there's loads of stuff I'd like. For starters:
- a really nice big mug for my morning tea
- Molton Brown lip balm (found this when upgraded on a flight years ago and now can't use anything els, but also can't justify it as it's £10 for a tube
- both of Nigel Slater's recent books on veg and fruit. The veg one most though.
- some boots (tricky for anyone to give these - I need to find them really)
- some of this year's Uniqlo cashmere
- some Tweezerman tweezers to replace some I lost 18 months ago
- a microplane grater
Written down this doesn't sound quite as grabby as I thought it was in my head as I'm not expecting all if it by any means. I know I won't get the boots and have a back-up plan (hairdryer).
Please tell me that it's not me who has more idea what I want than what to get anyone else?!
