Joe vs. The Cancer

My 3 year old DS, Joseph was diagnosed with the cancer Neuroblastoma in October.

Survival rates are approximately 1 in 3.

He's coming to the end of chemo and so far, chemo is kicking cancer's butt. 3 cheers.

Just seen this and don't know your whole story but having nursed other family members through cancer and chemo - I have HUGE admiration for your spirit and the work you have to do and wish the best best result for you and little Joe. Good vibes coming your way.

Oh Trazzle! Not gallstones on top of everything else?! I had those after DC1 was born so I know how painful they can be. Big hugs! Hoping Joe had a peaceful night and that the diarrhoea had stayed away. Gingers still crossed and still splodging away here.

Hi Trazzle, gallstones? WTAF. Someone, somewhere needs to lay off the trazzle family Angry Angry Angry. I hope you are not in too much pain and that Joe's doing OK today. It's a horrible time for you, think of you regularly.

I've for little charge on my phone so keeping this short - Joe is still very sick. Surgeon is coming to look at him as they found blood in his stomach - could be nothing, could be something. He has low blood pressure which could be due to the morphine, or not.

Surgeon is standard at such a point, by the way.

He is really really poorly. I'm on standby to go to hospital in the middle of the night - it shouldn't be necessary but is actually a possibility.
