Currently in hospital since last night with DS who is 3. Scans show masses on his brain. Drs believe them to be tumours, likely to have come from his abdomen.

Waiting for more scans/tests etc. staff are being overly nice to us which is worrying me more (though they did refer us to social services last night as they thought DH or I had fractured DS' skull.

Feel incredibly sick. He is 3 years old. Please hold my hand.

Trazzle, I hope you;re not feeling too low. As another poster said, this is the start of him getting better.

Whoop whoop for the chemo! That gives him a chance to fight and he will.

Really hope you get a chance to go home and do some normal family things before the next round.

Would an Internet food shop of some basics help? If someone will be in of an evening then I'll get something delivered.

O Trazzle, hopefully tonight he will start the long road to recovery, a long and hard road, one step at the time. At least, this will give him a chance, it is awful that he and all of you has to go through this, it is not fair, but at least there is hope. Treatments are improving all the time.
