Currently in hospital since last night with DS who is 3. Scans show masses on his brain. Drs believe them to be tumours, likely to have come from his abdomen.

Waiting for more scans/tests etc. staff are being overly nice to us which is worrying me more (though they did refer us to social services last night as they thought DH or I had fractured DS' skull.

Feel incredibly sick. He is 3 years old. Please hold my hand.

There is so much pain around at the moment Sad

I am so sorry that the news was the worst it could be. I am devastated for you which sounds trite since I don't know you, but I think news like this affects every mother.

Sending you all the love I can.

FunnysInLaJardin · 03/10/2012 13:06

TakingTheStairs · 03/10/2012 13:28

Trazzletoes , your DS is gorgeous. A very handsome little man.

I'm in SW London if I can help in any way xx

MissBetseyTrotwood · 03/10/2012 14:11

E London here. Likewise, if we can help in any way. If he is at GOSH at any point it's a hop skip and a jump for us so just holler.

He's a beautiful boy, with a family who will be with him the whole way through this journey. We have lit a candle for you all and will be thinking of you all and sending as much positivity as we can.

x

So sorry Trazzle but hopefully you'll have a good idea what you're dealing with.

I've got a friend who's ds was diagnosed with a brain tumour just before his first birthday and was treated in Sheffield. He's just started reception and has come so far since those first awful days you're in now.

Thinking of you and your beautiful ds.
