The 13-Storey Treehouse is the first book in the completely addictive Treehouse series, written by Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton. Five books later and this series has readers completely hooked by its hilarious adventures and cracking cartoon-style illustrations.

The 65-Storey Treehouse is the fifth book of wacky treehouse tales. Andy and Terry's amazing 65-Storey Treehouse now has a pet-grooming salon, a room where it's always your birthday (even when it's not), a lollipop shop, a quicksand pit, an ant farm, a time machine and Tree-NN: a 24-hour-a-day TV news centre keeping you up to date with all the latest treehouse news, current events and gossip. Well, what are you waiting for? Come on up!

Another Enid Blyton fan here. DD has worked her way through Famous Five, Secret Seven and Malory Towers. She also enjoys Roald Dahl, David Walliams and Jacqueline Wilson, especially the Hetty Feather books.

DS loves reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid series- he finds them very funny. He's just discovered Famous Five and Secret Seven, to my delight because I loved them as a child. Roald Dahl is a favourite too, although he hasn't read these recently.

DD is loving the Nancy Drew Mysteries. She loves a good clue-fest and has been a scooby doo fan for years. She likes the strong girl characters in Nancy Drew.

My daughter loved The Chronicles of Narnia series and some of the Enid Blyton series like The Magic Faraway Tree as she was attracted to the idea of strange and interesting places and people - she used to make up stories for herself, inventing new lands and habitats, and then poplulate them with all sorts of crazy characters, including animals and made-up individuals/tribes etc!

My son loves the Wimpy Kid books and anything Beano related. He has read the first two Treehouse books and loved them! My daughter was found in bed this morning reading her Rainbow Fairies collection. I love seeing my children become little bookworms like their Mummy! Reading is so important 📖📚

My eldest (right age for this series) was absolutely mad on the Horrible History series - there was a stage when a thought he would never read anything else... A while ago he went through a Tom Gates phase but at present he is madly into the Harry Potter books. He is currently reading them for the third time round.
This has led to his younger sister starting the Harry Potter books - she did really well with the first one and has now started number two. Up to this point she has been a really broad reader and hasn't got addicted to any series. I hope this continues!

We are currently working our way through the Roald Dahl books which dd2 loves. So much great Roald Dahl stuff around at the moment too so it's perfect.
Also reading the David Walliams books after seeing Gangsta Granny on TV, then at the theatre. We have the book but are currently in the middle of Mr Stink!

Didn't know there were Hetty Feather books, dd loved the TV series, will track them down!

Completely banned Jacqueline Wilson - same story every time, stroppy misunderstood kids!!!

My son loves reading a series of books as then he can follow a character and likes the way the stories change. He has loved Harry Potter, as we all do, but a new favourite is the Urban Outlaw series and now the young james bond.
