Hi,

I created a new thread as the old one is reaching its limit.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
JoyG58 · 14/11/2022 10:24

Hi I’ve been following this thread I received a text Friday to say we had qualified which is fab news as I was extremely anxious not sure why . Scan date of 11th august . Hopefully that helps everyone on here . Evidence was diagnosis and ehcp .

Trustynickname · 14/11/2022 10:35

Any updates? I’m 9th august still haven’t heard anything. Spoke to a lady on the dla helpline last week who said it hasn’t been looked at yet it isn’t even with a case worker, so I’m hoping this week there will be some luck. I’m going to call later as I also sent further evidence through last week and want to check they have received.

Mummyjustmummy · 14/11/2022 10:42

My daughters claim was for a renewal which was due to end on 27th. Got a decision today when I called. Awarded same rate hrc for 2 years. I believe the date they recieved it on the 13th October. I never recieved any letter to say when they scanned it on the system

Navigatormum · 14/11/2022 10:46

My scan date was August 11th and was a renewal but treated as a new claim as was a few days late due to health.

To support the application: I sent in:

EHCP, Neurodevelopment assessment, CAMHS letters, diagnoses for ADHD, Tourette syndrome, learning disabilities, an up-to-date behavioural report from school, a letter from the holistic engagement officer and a cognitive assessment.

Scanned date 11th August.
I was initially sent a letter to confirm my Child's nationality which was strange as she is British.

I spoke with the DLA office this morning and unfortunately, she would not confirm which dates they are working on😐

She advised that my application was treated as a new claim and is current with a case manager. It has been 14 weeks thus far! She also advised that it could be another fortnight🤨

I think they are inundated with work and we are being told conflicting information by various call handlers. I have just emailed my M.P to request support.

Good luck to all still going through this long process.

Trustynickname · 14/11/2022 11:32

Anyone know how long it takes from when it goes to a case worker? Mine hasn’t even got that far yet, I’m wondering how long I’ll have to wait once it is looked at. It’ll be 14 weeks tomorrow since they received x

Luly78 · 14/11/2022 11:33

@Trustynickname mine went to one last Tuesday and I haven’t heard yet

Momto3smalls · 14/11/2022 11:40

Momto3smalls · 14/11/2022 12:14

Mine went to a case manager on the 11th they said to give them till Friday to make a decision Grin

ChocolateSundayGirl · 14/11/2022 12:18

Don’t give up hope any of you 💕 Give them a call. I was so stressed that I hadn’t done enough for my daughter. I can’t even remember what date she said it was awarded from to be able to phone carers or tax credits 🤦🏻‍♀️

ChocolateSundayGirl · 14/11/2022 12:19

I think she might have said the award was from 20th July. I rang for the forms on the 11th July. Does that sound right? Xx

Lysha1988 · 14/11/2022 12:33

@Navigatormum Requesting help from your Mp should really help I contacted mine 11 days ago. Scan date 13th September. And my dd has been awarded. Fingers crossed for you x

namechangeagain3 · 14/11/2022 12:40

So relieved. Just phoned them and my daughters renewal has been done for 5 years! High rate care and low rate mobility. Do I need to inform UC that is staying the same now for 5 years? X

namechangeagain3 · 14/11/2022 12:40

Was due to expire December

Navigatormum · 14/11/2022 12:41

@Lysha1988 Thank You 🤗❤️

joannef83 · 14/11/2022 12:46

Someone posted on Facebook that they were scanned on the 18th August and have been told it is being looked at today.
