I created a new thread as the old one is reaching its limit.

@Kirsty111 i have no idea I’ll be honest! I’ve not bothered ringing for a long time and I think the next time I’ll ring is next week just to check all the extra stuff I posted has been scanned on. When I do call I’ll keep you updated and you can update me too 😃xx

Here's to another week of waiting! I'm really hoping il have a decision by Wednesday. I'm going to be gutted if it's no and I have to appeal 😭 x

Good luck for the week ahead! I’ll be checking back here everyday. I’m going to call Friday as I sent addition info and want to make sure they’ve received both! Maybe I’ll even ring the week after. I’m not expecting have any decision until the 28th of November at the earliest x

Good luck everyone. The lady on the phone Friday told me to expect a decision tomorrow so will be watching the phone like a hawk 🤣

Im 6th September so still a while to go yet 😩 feels like forever xx

My scan date is the 15th September. I called up on Friday to check if my additional evidence had been received. The lady that I spoke to said that my claim will be looked at in the next 10 days. I got the impression she didn’t really know what she was taking about though. I expect that I’ll receive a decision around Christmas time.

Try writing to your local mp, if their worth anything they’ll look into it for you. It works trust me. I emailed mine 11 days ago, scan date sept 13th with a payment landing tomorrow x

Hiya long time watcher of these threads, my date 23rd August I called on Friday he said around 2 weeks and was pretty helpful. Although I do think it's the luck of the draw could be earlier could be later. Good luck to everyone this week!

@LucasMummy88 informed them of the current wait times, and that we was struggling to meet costs of travel to appointments etc. reminded him very politely that I understand we have come through a pandemic etc. which I applied twice and found it reasonably quick and wouldn’t say easy but straight forward. However this time everything has changed. Asked them nicely to look into it. I emailed 11 days ago. My mp is in opposition I might add so I’m very impressed with this turn around x

@Meli3 not long for us 🤞🏼🤞🏼 hopefully we get the awards we know our kids deserve. I’ll keep you updated and you keep me updated too please 🙏🏼

Of course I will, I've followed these threads for ages and found it quiet helpful, I do think it's the luck of the draw because some have been awarded with a later date than others. Fingers crossed for us

10th August here and still not heard anything. Getting worried now

@ChocolateSundayGirl have you called? Call at 9 on the dot and you’ll get less of a wait. I wouldn’t worry about not hearing yet, there are still some for earlier in august who haven’t either. Depends what DM it has gone too and maybe they have more to get through? More intense evidence? I’m not sure but please don’t worry. Give them a call and they will update you on whether it’s with the DM or maybe it’s even been awarded already xx

@Meli3 thank you! Yes I’ve been following the thread for ages too. I do find it helpful but actually in some ways I wish I knew less about it 🤣 it’s become an addiction and sometimes it’s caused more worry that good haha. Xx

Thanks @MissEllie2 I called last Monday and hadn’t got to the DM yet so will call again today. Yes, there’s was lots of evidence, so hopefully that’s the reason I haven’t heard yet. My daughter was previously awarded dla but due to my own health problems I missed the renewal so it’s now a new claim. Will update here when I’ve phoned them xx
