Hi,

I created a new thread as the old one is reaching its limit.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

@Gemma96x if you put a note on your journal from the date you’ve been awarded the claim and what rate and report the change of circumstances. They will then attach a letter to your journal stating how much they owe you from them dates. So happy for you x

Ok done than thank you so much and I can't believe it I'm still in complete shock 😲.
Do you know how long it takes uc to get it seen to ect I'm new to this so I don't have any idea xxx

Sharna123 · 11/11/2022 13:02

I've called twice this week and been told different information, the wait is killing me...scan date 9th Aug

ChantelleB · 11/11/2022 15:25

I’m new to it too! Scary isn’t it and worrying enough though it’s what they are entitled to. So happy for you though. They normally reply back within a few days and then work out how much your owed and give you the date your getting it either same day they read the note or a few days after. Xx

Momto3smalls · 11/11/2022 16:29

Ringing again, I just need to be told if a decision has been made or not I don't want to wonder all weekend Confused congratulations to everyone that got good news today!

Shellbel10 · 11/11/2022 16:30

Good luck @Momto3smalls

Yeah got through, they told me it hasn't had a decision yet and will be next week 😩 what's one more week I guess! X

MissEllie2 · 11/11/2022 19:18

Mines the 22nd of August and I’ve just finally received an email with my sons latest OT report. I’ve asked for weeks for it to be posted and finally asked for it to be emailed so I can print myself! I’m going to send it tomorrow as additional evidence but I’m not sure it’ll even be scanned in time 😣

Shellbel10 · 11/11/2022 19:44

That’s a nightmare can I ask what other evidence you sent

Luly78 · 11/11/2022 19:46

Ours has gone to DM who phoned senco at school today. Was told to phone back Monday for a decision

Shellbel10 · 11/11/2022 19:50

What is your scan date @Luly78

Gemma96x · 11/11/2022 19:50

Hi girls keep in there you will all have a decision soon I know it's such a long wait!!!! BUT DONT GIVE UP good luck to you all. Don't panic about evidence so much please as I only sent my sons autism diagnosis report and told them appointments and contact details for senco on the phone 📱 and my son was awarded you'll get there and take care 🙂 xxx

Luly78 · 11/11/2022 19:51

@Shellbel10 10th august

Shellbel10 · 11/11/2022 19:58

Yes I really was i kept thinking 🤔 god I've not got enough evidence but finally got there in the end good luck shellbel10 I will still post on here X

MissEllie2 · 11/11/2022 20:47

@Shellbel10 i sent his ASD assessment and diagnosis letter, send plans, sleep diary, had his TA fill out the professional section. Can’t remember what else but been waiting on his GP records so I could send them too as he has lots of referrals and access to his sleep meds, asthma attacks ect but they are so back logged and haven’t gotten to me yet so it’ll be too late to send that by time it’s given to me. They have their contact details though so I guess if they wanted more evidence they could contact them. I’m honestly just trying to send as much as possible but the sad part is that we as parents cannot prove all the care we give on a daily basis as no one is there professionally to witness it so they just have to go by our word. I think everyone worries they’ve not sent enough and that they will be denied. It’s such a long wait. Regardless if we know that our children deserve it, the decision is in a strangers hand who has no clue about our children other than what we can inform them. It worries me 😣

Chebs81 · 11/11/2022 23:16

@Gemma96x keep getting email notifications and had a nose how people where getting on. Well done on Award. With us we had back pay in bank in 4 days and with uc we had to go on who lives you you by your child's name there's a button to press to change details. Add dla claim and then claim carers too as middle rate you can claim and I got decision of both within a day and bedroom tax wiped which had built up since end of May. Really impressed how quick they did it after the wait of this. That is backdated too if you told them you intended to claim. I put a note on my journal the day I rang for a claim form so was all backdated from that day.

ChantelleB · 12/11/2022 07:55

I think so I’m not 100% sure on the caring element. X

Kirsty111 · 12/11/2022 08:08
