Hi,

I created a new thread as the old one is reaching its limit.

I rang (5/8 SD) with DM since Thursday/Friday no decision yet. Have asked for a text

I have no decision either x

Scan date 5th August. I've just rang up my decision was made a couple.of days ago and I haven't been awarded. How.long does a mandatory reconsideration take?

They didn't tell me just told me to wait for a letter, I'm gutted x

Hi everyone 5th of August scan date . Just rang and been told my boy has been awarded MRC and LRM . It was all a bit weird though as he said there had been a technical issue and it looked like it was still open even though had been awarded. Then he said it looks like their still finalising things . But then said they sent out a letter last week. He said it had definitely been awarded though until aug 24. Didn't say anything about payment dates or back money. I'm wondering wether to call again in the morning to confirm things again . He did 20 mins of typing in silence and didn't really sound as if he knew what he was doing. Anyone had anything similar ?

My scan date is 9th Aug, called today and spoke to a lovely lady who advised my claim was with a DM and could take up to 2weeks once with a DM, but assured me that it shouldn't take that long...this thread has been so useful....fingers crossed x

@Gemma96x I only sent in a statement letter from his old teacher as he's just moved to highschool.she didn't actually write anything apart from her details to contact her for info. I have seen her today aswell and she didn't mention being called which should would have. Hope you get a decision soon Hun x

I think I'm just constantly worrying mines been with dm since yesterday did you get awarded and when ur scan date xxx

I only sent sons dsm-5 report report for autism and that's all xx

My scan date was 9th August I rang this morning was still waiting to be checked by decision maker I got a text at five to five saying my child qualifies rang up to check rates and he was awarded MRC and LRM I could honestly sob this has been such a tough year and this has just made things a little better xx

Yes according to the guy I spoke to this afternoon he says I've been awarded moderate care and low rate mobility until August 2024. He just said there was an issue and it hadnt completed correctly so going to ring again I. The morning to make sure. Our scan date was 5th of August Hun. Its awful waiting. To be honest you have sent more than what I did so I can't see you being turned down. I was the same panicking. Are you going to ring tomorrow?

@Gemma96x I'm not sure I rang Thursday last week and he just said it had just been allocated that week but didn't say a day

Evening , am 3rd and I've still not heard nowt debating if to phone tomorrow I phoned for first time yesterday and it made me feel abit crap 🙄. We we have to remember what ever the out come we will always fight for what's right for are children . Just remember your doing an amazing job x

Hi I sent alot in over 60 pages I sent it EHCP draft educational psychologist report diagnosis from paedatrician then I sent in at a later date final EHCP and some forms I had found from my sons preschool dated from 2019 to show how long things had been going on xx

I think I will give them a call tomorrow as am back at work for rest of week so won't get chance to ring them . I'll ring at 9am and I'll let you know what they say finger crossed for us both tomorrow xx
