DLA Wait Times Part 5 2022

Hi,

I created a new thread as the old one is reaching its limit.

I've just got a text saying my son qualifies for dla 😊 my date was 21st of July x

Great can I ask what evidence you sent in x

Any idea how long it’s taking to get through today ? I’m on hold now scan date August 4th , spoke to them Friday said it was being looked at over the weekend x

I got told the same thing on Friday I'm 3rd august now been told it can be another 2 weeks x

@Gemma96x oh really 😭probs tell me the same as we keep getting told the same x

It's taking a long time but people on the 2-4 th aug been awarded x

@Gemma96x yeah exactly so why another 2 weeks , bet it won’t take that long at all x

@Gemma96x Well I thought I sent in my sons letter of autism diagnosis,but they rang me last Monday to ask what school my son goes because I forgot to fill that part out ( I have baby brain) and she told me I didn't send any letters in so they only went off what I wrote down and what ever the school SENCO have said to her x

I no I was told I would have a decision over the weekend but now they sed its not with a dm yet so I don't no x

Been a long wait but finally called today and was told great news my son was awarded mrc and lrm it has been a tough fight as we was declined end of august after waiting since may! It was only supposed to be a renewal, but it appeared they messed up the paperwork and had been looking at a total different child, mandatory reconsideration went through and I waited patiently took 6 weeks in all to get that back but happy news today :) also whilst on the phone I asked them to check my other sons claim he was awarded mrc and his scan date was 6 august hopefully everybody gets what there children deserve and remember to not give up without a fight :)

It's not much hope for the rest of us but I think my son will be denied also my scan date is 3rd august and still nothing x

@Leah041196 am so pleased for you! I’m currently 3 weeks into waiting for outcome of an MR. Got declined in September after waiting since June. All this waiting is making me so anxious and I’m preparing myself for another no. But you’ve given me hope so thank you :)

I’m just off the phone to them. My scan date is 10th august. The lady was lovely and said that the norm is 14 weeks at the mo so she would have expected ours to be with a DM at the mo…. But she thinks that they may have fallen further behind than they’re admitting as some others she’s looked at today she’s have expected a decision to have been made on but it wasn’t the case. So fingers crossed

My scan date is the 5th of Aug.
ive just been awarded HRC AND LCM. It went to the decision maker this morning and was awarded at 11am

Am 3rd August rang today didn't get much out of them just that no dision has been made , first time claim.

Same with me

Does it depend what area you live in aswell as someone on 4th Aug been awarded so it doesn't seem to make any sense x

I've been following thread for a few days and I keep seeing loads getting awarded thats after are scan day , whitch am happy about just wish I'd get news so I don't feel sick everyday haha ..

Wouldn't of thought that mttered I just assumed the get the pile with same scan date qnd spread it between DM . X
