Makes me nervous with the lack of evidence x

@Gemma96x oh I hope my wait it’s that long it’s hard work with him not sleepy and meltdowns. Hoping the questionnaire is enough evidence as I don’t have anything else xx

Mine isn't with a dm yet but should be this week x

Mine was awarded last Wednesday and I’ve had no money yet, people are saying that it should be in tomorrow as it takes 3-5 working days x

Mine has been awarded! HRC and LRC! Hope you all her your decisions soon!

Hi an update for anyone waiting to hear back for renewals. They are working on dates upto 8th December this week

The pay day is Wednesday so you might get it Wednesday it’s usually 2-3 working days the payment goes in x

@Gemma96x it was aug 3rd.
I sent in the ADHD diagnosis report and medicine prescription and letter awaiting ASD assessment, plus school senco wrote something.

My son does not have a diagnoses, I only sent in his speech referrals etc in. He is non verbal, doesn't even know what time of day it is or understand any words. Won't respond to words, underweight etc.

He does have a ASD(heart condition) which requires open heart surgery and a lot of care as hes constantly in hosptial due to infections/injections/consultants etc. He's on medication to stop him having heart failure. I think he has austism but I'm going private as I'm not waiting 2 years for a diagnoses.

All I sent was all that evidence and that he has mobility car via family fund as hes under 3.

Ok thank you I'm 3rd too... but heard nothing I really think my sons not going to get it due to lack off evidence has I just sent his diagnosis of autism dsm-5. Did you receive a text message I phoned this morning to be told its not even with a dm yet but she said it should be soon xx

@Gemma96x no I didn’t get a text I just called them.
I don’t think it matters, as long as you outlined all his difficulties, they would call you to ask for further evidence I think!

Ok thank you really nervous now for my son. Hopefully not long but the women said she can't say when it will be prob be another 2 weeks xx

Finally just got our text and my son has qualified for it! Ringing now to find out the rates, what a weight off my shoulders that text was!

My daughters been diagnosed with a learning disability but I didn’t put it on the form as she was diagnosed after I’d posted her form should I phone dla and tell them I don’t have any evidence yet as her report hasn’t come. X

Just got off phone after 30 mins wait. Scan date of 1st August. Lady said we have been awarded for my daughter on 3rd November and letter in post. Not received any text. Been awarded LRM and MRC. Told it takes 3 days to get to bank. Awarded until July 2024. Her autism assessment started on 1st August so I did not have any reports to submit at the time I completed the form and I havent been asked to send anything either. Hang in there everyone and thanks for this thread - it has kept me sane.
