Hi,

I created a new thread as the old one is reaching its limit.

So am I. When I called Friday to see if they received my extra supporting evidence they told me mine was with a DM

When you send supporting evidence who do you send to

Why do u have to do a Mr I'm feeling more unsure my son will be awarded can I ask what evidence you sent it xx

I haven’t heard back yet am not due to for another couple of weeks. Only sent in copy of ieps and sleep med prescription so not feeling hopeful to be honest.

My scan date is 11th august, I sent report from health visitor for peads referral is that enough evidence?

And me fingers crossed x

To be honest with you ive no idea because I only sent my sons diagnosis report and that's all he has autism dsm-5 x

Well nothing in my bank account so I’m calling after school run scan date 2nd August

@Gemma96x his referral is for asd and adhd been waiting 6 months now for community peads team. Just hope that’s enough evidence x

Morning everyone, scan date was 11th august, at least I assume that’s the scan date as that is the date confirmed everything was received. Anyone know what date they are working on?

claiming for son, type 1 diabetic with dyspraxia, previously entitled but missed cut off for renewal and had to start whole new claim, addition to this claim is the dyspraxia and the additional support this requires - no idea if this will alter any rates received previously when was only for T1DM?

Yeah it taken me 4 years for a diagnosis for my son but eventually we moved house so new school then his new school helped with the referral he was diagnosis at the school by a peadatric xx

Scan date 1st August, just rang up and still no decision has been made, they’re chasing it up with the DM now so hopefully it won’t be much longer

Wow still no dm I'm thinking mine will be next week now x

@Gemma96x Its been with the decision maker for 8 days, they’re taking ages x

Does anyone know how long it takes for back payment to be paid? My DS was awarded on Thursday and i've still had no money in my account.

8 days is a long time I thought when it's with a dm it only takes a few days keep a eye out for a text message or they might ring you even. Can I ask what you sent it thank you x

thank god been awarded I just got text as was about to ring will calm down and then call for rates scan date 2nd I’m so beyond happy

Morning all,

Scan date 5th August and just rang for an update. Got a helpful guy who said it’s with a case manager but didn’t know how long it had been with one since 🤷🏻‍♀️ said that some send a text or to just wait for a letter. Said we’re very much near the end now. Advised me to ring back at the end of the week if I hadn’t heard anything. Good luck everyone, it’s so nerve-wracking x

@Gemma96x For most it is, but they must’ve decided to take their time with ours 😂 He’s currently on the ASD pathway I sent in a report from the paediatrician and a letter to say he’s on the ASD pathway waiting for his full assessment x
