But if I am it's probably going to be very slow!

Having got to sleep at 12.30am (ish) last night I woke up at 2.30 and have been up ever since! I think I might have been woken up by a contraction.

Anyway, next one wasn't until 3.45am, then they came at half hourly intervals until about 7am, but haven't had any since... however I am feeling a great deal of pressure in my pelvic area.... here's hoping!

EVERYTHING crossed xxxxxxxxxxxx

Hope your labour is as easy as my 3rd (2.5 hours)

Miaou · 28/07/2005 17:41

2.5 hours?

I hope it's not that short, I won't get my waterbirth if it is!

RTKangaMummy · 28/07/2005 17:46

so if you tell us how long your idea labour would be then and the power of mumsnet will try to oblige

Seriously though hope everything goes well for you and baby, everything crossed for you xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Nbg · 28/07/2005 17:47

Good luck Miaou

(This is very exciting!)

Miaou · 28/07/2005 17:48

Hmmm ... how about 4 hours... that would give me time to be sure I was in labour, get to the hospital, get the pool filled then away we go, all done before bedtime

I'll second that motion

RTKangaMummy · 28/07/2005 17:56

Do you have E4 or E4 + 1

it is the episode offriends when rachel is wanting to go into labour

RTKangaMummy · 28/07/2005 17:59

they were talking about how to get the baby out

and are talking about sex

and

ROSS says it is like a KETCHUP bottle when you have to bang on the end to get it to come out !!!!!!!!!!!!

If you have E4 + 1 it will be on again @ 6.30 if you are still around that is

Nbg · 28/07/2005 17:59

That has to be one of my favourite episodes.

Sooooo funny!

mummyhill · 28/07/2005 18:23

Positive thoughts winging their way to you hope you get the birth you want and that you don't have to drive all the way round the loch to get there.

Miaou · 28/07/2005 19:42

lol about the ketchup bottle KangaMummy! Missed the episode though, was too busy eating my pineapple curry

Contractions much stronger now, but still quite spaced apart. Dh is getting impatient to go but I want to hold off a bit longer - I really don't want to get sent home twice - I'll feel very silly!

Miaou · 28/07/2005 19:56

Arghhhh .... maybe you are all right... but contractions are still about 15-20 mins apart ... might leave it another half hour and see...
