missy...oh, best of luck sweaty...it won't be long know...I know the pain can be overwhelming at times...but try to remind yourself that every bit of pain will bring you closer to your little darlings arrival

Mrsjaffabiffa · 11/09/2007 13:33

oh wow missy, i can't believe you are posting as being induced. It's great. Hope you are coping well, won't be long......

Watling sorry I missed the tea with you, i've had a busy morning out, very inconvienient appointment on today of all days. I'm now supposed to be next door for lunch with friends but I made an excuse to pop back and see what was happening. I'll try to text you a bit later, i haven't forgotten.

Going back next door now but in the words of THE man himselt, "I'll be back"
Go Missy

Thanks! Hope she is OK, I feel like a nervous Auntie

Mrsjaffabiffa · 11/09/2007 18:31

I did text straight back telling her to rest if she can.

Missy text again to say that she'd been examined but there was no change so they had given her the second lot of gel.

Could be here for a while longer...... I'll get the drinks in!!

Watling you around sweetie? I'm not sure about the number you gave me to dial from here to Ireland, seems a bit weird. Most numbers from here start with 00 but I have never needed to ring Ireland before. Can you e-mail me If you know any more about it.

3andnomore · 11/09/2007 19:46

Thanks for the update...really hope that all will be well....my personal worry is, that in her desperation to have this Baby, Missy has put herslef a bit under the mercy of the Hospital and the Interventions that come with this....however...really hoping, that dispite the slow start and the intervention missy will have a good and positive Birth experience.
crossing all I have!

Mrsjaffabiffa · 11/09/2007 20:07

I agree...... BUT

Missy is in LABOUR woooooo hoooooo

Just had a text from her dh that said...

Missy is going in to Labour, hopefully baby won't be too long now.

YEY, Go family Missy!!!!

3andnomore · 11/09/2007 20:16

yeah...that is soooo exciting OH, she will have her Baby soon now

and I actually should be ironing...sigh...

callmeovercautious · 11/09/2007 20:31

Oh! I just went all goosepimply!!!!!!!!!

Soooooo exciting!

To ring Ireland you need to put 00353 before the number and drop the 0 at the beginning of the dialing code. Odd because it is 3 numbers after the 00. I have lots of family still over there.

I am enjoying a nice glass of Sauvigon blanc - on special in Tescos! Especially nice because it only cost £2.99!!! I was expecting vinegar!

Am working agin tomorrow so will try and keep up with the thread but if not don't think I have forgotten you all

Will check back later

Breathe deep Missy!
