Bahh! Missed all the fun

Hello all!

Went back to work today so have been mad busy this evening.

Missy - I am a bit of a BF fiend, DD was very clever and we have not looked back, still feeding her at 12m. I am considering training as a bf mums friend then maybe a councellor. If you want any help please shout, it is hard but now I find it very rewarding.

I am emailing you my number now, so you can text me whenever.

lots of baby vibes! x

just thought I check in , inacse there are any news...!
Missy sounds promising..will you be my guineypig...I have just volunteered my services to help out with the POstnatal support in the local NCT branch (having only just become a member even though my youngest is 3 already ....but I want to do the Antenatal teacher Training with them)!

3andnomore · 10/09/2007 22:32

oh on the feeding....if you liked bf last time, then I would definately start with that and then see how you feel
I msut admit, I found it a godsend...my ys was a nightmare, but the only thing I could do right, apparently was breastfeeding him....it was the only time I didn't feel rejected...(btw....with him I certainly did NOT experience that instant rush of love...it took a good year if not longer)...I also found bf easier as ms was only 21 month when ys was born...I did bottledfeed my oldest from 4 month on and my ms from 10 month on...and bottles were such a faff....lol...just my experience of course.

Hello 3 [waves]

3andnomore · 10/09/2007 22:48

callme...btw...bfc is another thing I would like to train for, one day....but ANT first

callmeovercautious · 10/09/2007 23:07

My bf councellor asked me recently if I was interested, she knew I had struggled to start and when I bumped into her and she found out I was still bfing she lept on me! She needs help to run the local groups as she is a HV who does the group in her own time. Why the hell the nhs can't fund her time for a few hours a month is beyond me!

I feel a bit odd doing it as I only have the one DD as experience. I know every lo is different and think maybe I need a wider view first?

Hi Missy - hope you are lots of pain

missyhols · 11/09/2007 06:19

Thats great about the councilling guys. I'll gladly except all your advice and be guinea pig! Lol

Had rough night sleep and i got up about an hour ago, i gave up fighting for space with dh. Woke up with more yuk and dodge belly and incredibly painful piles. Ouch!

I'm getting tightenings and have a feeling labour is starting so hopefully when i get in i won't need faffing with too much. Getting really nervous now. 3 no more I'll check my email and if you have sent your number I'll add it to list for b a!
