Was that a show I've just had????????????

I've just been to the loo (sorry TMI coming up LOL) and when I wiped there was a big 'lump' of jelly like mucus - wasn't brown or tinged with blood - more of a very milky weak tea/coffee colour.

I've been having lots of twinges this morning - infact was lying in bed this morning and had a few quite strong BH's.......timed the 1st 2 or 3 and they were 7 minutes apart - turned my back on the clock and played "guess the time of the next one" - and for about 1hr they were regular at every 7 minutes....

Now obviously it was a show I know it could still mean that labour is days (or even weeks) away....but I just wondered if it WAS a show.

seamonster · 24/05/2007 09:30

Just got back from school and am checking up on you. Glad to hear it wasn't a false alarm! Good luck with everything. I'm off to hoover now!

twoplusone · 24/05/2007 09:32

Goodluck fannyannie, How exciting..

mylittlestar · 24/05/2007 09:59

GraceKelly · 24/05/2007 10:06

foxybrown · 24/05/2007 10:11

twiddle your nipples like there's no tomorrow every time you get atwinge, it brings them on alot stronger

dionnelorraine · 24/05/2007 10:16

You still around FA? Was wondering how regular the contactions are now?

Hope your feeling ok!

How exciting!

jinxed · 24/05/2007 10:25

Hope all going smoothly, and WELL DONE for going into labour naturally.

Hope there is some news by bedtime!

fannyannie · 24/05/2007 10:30

well I'm still here, still every 5-7 minutes they're coming and some of them very painful now.....still feel they're suddenly going to stop and that's its just a false alarm

Suppose I really should get my hospital bag sorted though shouldn't I

SORT IT OUT WOMAN

OR IT WON'T BE WORTH IT, YOU'LL HAVE HAD THAT BABY BY THIS TIME TOMORROW imho!

DaisysGotABigBump · 24/05/2007 10:39

Are you using a tens machine?....or just going with the pain?

foxybrown · 24/05/2007 10:39

Perhaps its a slow burner, so you might have a pleasant surprise when you do see the MW!

You sound like you are doing fine and coping really well.

dionnelorraine · 24/05/2007 10:43

Yes! Pack that bag!!!!!

Klaw · 24/05/2007 10:53

get that bag packed! or else dh will bring you clean knickers in the hospital and they'll turn out to be thongs or something equally ridiculous!

Of course, you will need to still give us hourly updates!

Klaw · 24/05/2007 11:00

Remember that all these contractions are getting baby into a better position, and get vervic prepared. It's not a waste of time. Just a little frustrating perhaps...

A little bit of light reading to help you understand where you're at and give you faith in your body. It really does know what it's doing!

Stay strong, you're doing so well!!

Klaw · 24/05/2007 11:01

that's cervix, of course, Typing gone mental!

Sugarfree · 24/05/2007 11:01

I think the updates should be half hourly now.
Is that bag packed yet?
Don't forget the very last thing you do before leaving for the hospital....
is to tell us you're off.

fannyannie · 24/05/2007 11:37

well I'm thinking I may be off very soon - getting closer together and fewer of the 'mini' contractions..........
