Well back in December 2010 some of you lovely lot really helped me along whilst in labour with DD2...

Today it's dc3 (gender unknown) due date...

So, although Im not having a planned home birth this time, I will still be labouring along with you lot, if you'll have me :)

Still having them. They are stronger. And they don't last long at all - 40 seconds max with the peak being 10 seconds. No fixed pattern but at least 4/5 an hour since 2pm

And a big old show >.

How exciting! Wishing you all the best and we'll all be here supporting you along the way!

bitbewildered · 22/08/2012 20:51

Oooh again! Is DP with you?

OnlyWantsOne · 22/08/2012 20:58

He's taken the dog for a walk :)

Dd1 is watching crap on tv with me - this bit is so boring - I don't know if this will all just stop or if it will ramp up -

And how do you know when it will happen, when do I call my sister and get her to come over and watch kids? She's 10 mins away hospital is 50 mins away - and I know I'm no where near that, I'm just thinking in advance

Have checked children's bag, my hospital bag, phone on charge etc

Just listen to your body, you'll know when you need to make arrangements and get moving etc. it might just be worth letting your sister know what's happened so far so she knows to keep a close ear out for her phone.

You'll be fine once everything gets properly moving. You're as prepared as you can ever be Smile

Make the most of this last little bit of relaxing time and get plenty of rest

OnlyWantsOne · 22/08/2012 21:32

Thank you flossy :)

I think I spoke too soon & it's calmed down :D

I've heard about this happening with third babies, it must be really frustrating! I'm standing by my prediction that it will be tomorrow.

Rest up as much as you can, it sounds like things are moving in the right direction Smile

OnlyWantsOne · 22/08/2012 21:58

It's a good thing it's calmed down. There's no paracetamol left! I'm off to bed - I'm ignoring it all :)

Can I take paracetamol with caffeine? We have no plain paracetamol and i would really like to take some thing to help!!!!!!

OP posts:
FalseStartered · 23/08/2012 10:21

keep walking up and downstairs until you've got a sweat on, then go for a really warm soak in the bath.

gravity might take a hold and muscles might start moving if nothing else it'll pass the time

OneOfMyTurnsComingOn · 23/08/2012 10:22

What exactly is the paracetamol with caffeine?

OnlyWantsOne · 23/08/2012 10:46

Just timed the last two

Lasting 40 seconds and 2.56 apart

Oh.

This could be it then?!

OP posts:
OnlyWantsOne · 23/08/2012 10:47

The paracetamol with caffeine are just para with added caffeine. Like a cold and flu capsule thing.
