Well back in December 2010 some of you lovely lot really helped me along whilst in labour with DD2...

Today it's dc3 (gender unknown) due date...

So, although Im not having a planned home birth this time, I will still be labouring along with you lot, if you'll have me :)

If I was having cx every 2 mins it would be the long car journey to hosp that would really put me off ... sounds like it's your call OWO, what is your gut feeling?

Totally normal to feel fine between them, even when the birth is imminent. With DS2 I had a labour of 1hr 45 mins. Incredibly powerful contractions, but I was laughing and joking with the midwives inbetween.

Not long to wait now for your new littel bundle.

Ah, x-post. You can refuse to have your community mw I expect - I doubt they'll want to distress you. Just make sure your DH is aware of how strongly you feel about it too so he can back you up.

I would go to MLU. You can be assessed there and it is close. If you feel you can't cope while there and need more painkillers you can be transferred.

i can tell your getting quite distressed now OWO i would strongly suggest you go and get DRUGS now......they aint going to get any less painful if anything they are going to get worse and you really dont want to make urself stressed out hunni.

id make your way to the hospital or to the MLU now!

You can do it. It sounds like it's going a little quicker this time anyway, so try not to dwell on last time. My bet's on the baby arriving a lot sooner than last time, so I would say that!

I know it's a bit odd, but can you try and think of something else while contracting? I imagined I was surfing a big wave during each one, it did help at first, after 27 hours not so much . I can't surf at all! It just fitted with the contractions iykwim.

Now dd2 out of house swearing lots more
